My family came together on my site & 33 & 34 to surprise my sister on site 33 for her 50th birthday. The controversy started by mgmt making accusations & charges vs simply explaining the rules! Our group was all family. We are mostly well off. We were not loud or partying unruly. Future suggestion is ask if a guest knows the extra charge policy before getting alarmed. I hope it all worked out.

Stayed in one of the newer premium sites and very nice. Unfortunately, a hurricane was heading our way and had to cut our stay short and glad we did. The staff was great as usual.

We love this campground. It's great for our kids. It's location is ideal to enjoy area attractions. Enjoyed paddle boating on this trip.

What an AWESOME facility! We LOVED the dog park, nature trail, our view of the lake, the friendliness of the staff, and proximity to everything! We will be back for a longer stay in the future and I've already told friends about it!

We had a very pleasant spot next to the water, and the setting was beautiful and the upkeep of the grounds was quite good. It was a great experience, and out first KOA stay.

The park is great as is the crew/staff. The only negative I have is about the speed bumps. Strange, I know, and I do know they are needed, but riding in a large pickup, the terrible bouncing hurt my back, and we even had things fall out of the 5th wheel's cabinets, that have never been bothered while traveling. I would definitely stay there again we have the opportunity of being in Charleston.

Longest pull thru we’ve had and very wide space. 44’ fifth wheel and dually unhitched and still room. Used the laundry room , it was adequate. Very friendly staff. No sewer at site 55, used dump station upon leaving. Lovely park.

We were in site# 46 and it was lovely. Nice patio site with grill, fire pit and nice comfortable patio furniture. Shady, but enough opening to allow our Satellite to work. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Whole campground was kept up exceptionally well.

Very clean and well maintained park. Friendly, courteous staff throughout the grounds. Additionally, understanding and compassionate office staff when we had to depart early due to a family medical emergency, issued immediate refund for unused day, no questions asked. We recommend, and will return.

It was wonderful! We stayed for 10 days, should have gone their sooner, while we waited for the builder to finish our new home. Staff was available throughout the campground and did a wonderful job maintaining the campground as well as making sure we had everything we needed. The dogs loved the dog park which includes swimming in the lake!

Had another great stay. Enjoyed seeing some of same stuff from pervious years. No reflection of KOA but I had serval people continue to walk thru my site going between the pool and bathhouse. Not sure if it was my site location or just some odd people.

Wonderful, site was bigger than expected. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The laundry, showers, pool, disc golf plenty to do. Plus activities for the kids. Would highly recommend.

The people are very friendly but the campground has a major ant problem. They are all over the sites and come up the water and power lines into the camper. We were camping with another and this happened on both sites. Other than that the campground is quiet and is in a nice location.

We had a great time. The staff was great. The grounds are nice and well kept. Lots to see and do. Great layout. We stayed on the lake side and the views were beautiful.. especially in the morning and late evenings. Plenty of areas to walk your dogs... if you have dogs. I also noticed how quiet it was even though the campground seemed to be filled. We would totally stay again!

Worst stay in more than 20 years. The park manager was like the gustapo!

This location is very well run and clean. Probably one of the best campsites I have stayed in with good proximity to the beaches and downtown Charleston. Great dog park and always activities available for all ages. I can see why its always booked and will certainly be back.

Beautiful campground. Urban setting but you would never know it. Very quite and no traffic noise. Hosts were great.

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!
