Would like to see a little bit better maintenance on their “Deluxe” cabin. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy and was absolutely vital in keeping the humidity down in the room. There was also a maintenance door on the side of the cabin that was left open and banging/squeaking against the cabin anytime the wind blew. I had to have their after hours guy duct tape it shut.

We stayed in k19 very clean. All staff was great checking was easy a lot of stuff to do. Cooper had fun running in the rain and walking through the mud puddles. I recommend this place to all my friends. Thanks for the nice time spending with you folks. Jackie the manager was awesome. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The new bath house was great

We had an excellent site, 21, which was so convenient to the laundry. Friendly staff members, especially Craig, make us glad to return to this KOA. I especially appreciate how the crew was working hard to clean up the grounds following last weekend's storm.

A lot of traffic and accidents. But lots of shopping and plenty to do. The Campground was lovely, employees friendly and the facilities were great.

Nice campground, friendly staff. Only downside was the showers had no hot water. Turned hot water on and let it run for 5+ minutes- cold water. Got dressed and went to office. They directed me to a smaller shower house where the water was hot. All the showers should work at a campground especially when you consider the nightly charge here.

Great staff, clean and large pull thrus. Cellular reception was poor on all three providers, but the offered internet at each spot helped for work.

We stayed for 5 nights, the staff was pleasant, the grounds were well maintained. This KOA is only about 10 miles from downtown Charleston, and Patriots point is even closer. Breakfast was very good and they offer things to do even in the off season. Definitely a place to visit.

Pancake Breakfast on Sunday was really nice. Campground clean and especially loved the doggie area.

Very nicely decorated for Christmas Staff diligent with trash pick up. Clean & roomy sites. Sewer was uphill from hookups. Easier to just drive to dump station since we were only staying one night. Expensive.

Horrible site with tree roots all over sitting area. Moved to a new site still roots. See Trip Advisor for pictures. Assistant manager was not customer friendly. These horrible sites were over $95. We just left Florida on beach site with full hookup site for $60. This KAO is a joke! We will not stay again and will give a poor rating on our camper club site. Disappointing is understatement.

Always wonderful and well run. I am profoundly disappointed that you will be eliminating seasonal rates for next year. This will have a negative impact on our ability to maintain a months plus long visit next year. Very unfortunate.

Loved this campground. Spacious sites, wonderful employees. Lots to do. Would recommend that they ensure showers are cleaned.

A very nice location. We stayed overlooking the lake on an excellent deluxe lot. A gas fired BBQ was provided that worked perfectly. A bundle of wood was even provided with our stay. The 2 person swing overlooking the lake was a nice touch. We liked the text messages received each day with events & info. Well done!!

We booked two sites that online said it was full hookup. We our friends arrived before us, they were told it wasn’t full hookup. The. They were driving a tractor between our sites to haul dirt. The sites had so many roots there was nowhere to put the chairs.. They moved us spots but charged an extra $28/site. The assistant manager was extremely rude and told us not to ask for a discount.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When the sites were reserved online, you both reserved water/electric only. We were able to accommodate the requests to be moved to full hook up sites, side by side, but there is difference in the water/electric only rate and the full hook up rate. Please review your email confirmation.

All the Mt Pleasant/Charleston KOA staff were so friendly & helpful! They made our first camping experience worry free and absolutely enjoyable. Our campsite was spectacular with a paved patio, fire pit, gas grill, ample seating, table, and our own swing overlooking the lake! Absolute perfection!

Lovely site, well maintained. Quite quiet despite its proximity to the major highway. All of the "Yellow Shirts" were very friendly. The only reason I could not give a 5 Star rating is because of the extremely annoying lawn maintenance guys who insisted using using leaf blowers on our occupied site. Why??? Drove our dogs crazy, took a while to calm them down. Plus disturbed our peaceful morning.

What a great KOA. Close enough to many adminities around Mount Pleasent, but tucked away and secluded. It sits on a large lake and even has walking trails back in the wilderness. The sites are large and have numerous mature trees around. Even though we only stayed for two nights, we received text messages everyday to let us know what activities were going on. I will definitely comeback.

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!
