Very clean campground. The facilities were great and the lake provided great views. Also very dog friendly with convenient bag and disposal locations.

Excellent experience. Staff is super nice and friendly. Campground maintain superbly. It is so peaceful and relaxing. You’d never know you are so close to all the attractions. Can’t wait to come back.

The staff is amazing, the grounds are well kept, bright and beautiful - the restrooms were ok, not dirty but need updates and the showers - were outright disgusting. Dirty, rusted , broken handles, one had zero hot water, shower curtains had mold - soooo nasty it almost made me cry to have to shower in there ! Love love love your staff though

A top notch campground. Watching the sun set over the lake as the fish jumped and the birds fished was a highlight. Everyone was friendly in this quiet, well run campground. I highly recommend it.

The best country club for a KOA!!!! Great customer service..,beautiful grounds.. also shout to Kevin he got stay last minute, and he took the to help change my brakes he did all the work,, next year for sure!! Thank you the Davis’s �

Had a great stay at one of the best KOA's we experienced in-person. Our fault I didn't check my reservation for FULL hook-ups, (including sewer), but we made due with electric and water. Would like to have better WIFI though.

Very expensive for a tent site without power. A regular hotel room would have been cheaper. I was visiting some RV camping friends, and my tent would have easily fit on their site without problems. My friends said that other RV sites allowed tents that fit within the RV site boundary.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Not true - tents are not allowed on sites with rv's or cabins, tents must be on a tent site. There is only one camping unit allowed per site. We would have been happy to google hotels in Mount Pleasant for you.

It was fabulous. This is the 3rd time we have stayed and it was another wonderful experience. The campground is clean and well maintained and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We loved the new premiere site overlooking the lake!!

Campground was clean and quiet. Hosts were very polite and knowledgeable. The offered lunch and breakfast in the Rec Hall for a very reasonable price, pool looked very clean, dog park was well kept and picked up. The sites with the concrete patios were really nice, will try to grab one of those next time.

Staying here is like being in a beautiful state park, but with great extras. We loved the long hiking trails through the woods and kayaking on the big lake. The $5 Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast were wonderful. The sites are large and level with nice grass areas.

We stayed for 3 nights. Grounds are lovely. Staff is very helpful and quick to respond to any problems, like our water hose leaking. Staff member put in a new gasket and had it fixed before we even returned to our site!

Had a great stay while in town. The staff is very friendly and on top of their game. We really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are kept up and maintained extremely well. Very happy!

Excellent campground! Can't wait to return. Very friendly and helpful staff. Variety of amenities. Clean facilities. Stocked camp store. Excellent location in middle of town, yet you feel like your miles away in a secluded wooded paradise with wildlife, a private lake to fish and kayak on, hiking/biking trails, and a calendar of activities to get involved in. Highly recommend staying here!

We would highly recommend.We were very impressed by the appearance of the campground and friendliness of the staff.The driver (he had a gray beard) that took us to the site,let us know of what see/eat, also informed us that a free WiFi modem is available free from the office. Ken and Jimmye helped us throughout our stay with area info, campsite help and answering ? on KOA points.

What a great campground! We really enjoyed our stay. Ken was so helpful when we had a problem with our cable and Jimmy was very knowledgeable in the office. Great customer service. Campground was very clean and well kept and location was convenient to attractions. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!
