Love this campground. The sites are huge!! Beautiful large pool. Very clean restrooms & showers. Love the cafe & bar. Live entertainment on weekend. Staff are so nice and always working to improve. My only downside was they did not have a laundry room. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!!

All of the Weekday activities that would go on even if they were completely full they did for just us and one other family. We were treated as equals. We had a wonderful stay. It’s one of the best KOAs we have stayed at. Huge pool, great fishing, driving range, fun activities all week. Rootbeer floats , foam pit, nice playground, great buddy camping sites.

WIFI will not support streaming, especially on weekends. The showers / restrooms are quite a hike from some sites.

We have stayed numerous times since they opened and every trip, there is something new and exciting. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. They have lots of events going on during your stay Planning for next year already.

Mt. Gilead KOA is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. The staff is super friendly, the grounds were well maintained and the restrooms spotless. We had hot, delicious sandwiches and onion rings. We will be back!

Staying at this campground is like going on a vacation! Customer service is excellent there’s so many activities to get involved in or you can just chill by the pool side or relax at your campsite. Large grassy areas are the best of any KOA we have experienced in Ohio or Michigan! Not our first experience here… you can see why we keep returning. Thank you Mt Gilead KOA!

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. The campground and facilities were clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved all the activities that were planned for the holiday weekend. We are already planning a return trip!

I'm torn. This KOA is new, clean, large camp store, nice pool. Buuuuuttttt...we left a day early. We are apparently not KOA people unless it's our only choice with a destination in mind. Bored to tears. Absolutely no shade on our campsite (most campsites). Hated the gravel roads. Was it worth what I spent for the weekend? Absolutely not. The tractor pull was a not needed bonus.

Staff members were kind and helpful from booking the site, upon arrival, and during our stay. Campgrounds were clean and quite. There were so many free activities for the kids to do during our stay. Will definitely be back!

This review is primarily for "Nini's: A Sister Concept", the new breakfast and lunch restaurant located on-site but open to the public. We dined on there on opening day and we're very impressed! They have a good selection of traditional breakfast foods and sandwiches for lunch, including paninis (from which their name is derived.) I had the chicken, bacon, ranch (CBR) panini, and it was delicious! The chicken breast was tender, the bacon was crispy, and the ranch sauce was a perfect complement. My husband had the smash burger panini with their special sauce and Swiss cheese. We split an order of onion rings, which were quite good for a quick service restaurant. Although meals come in to-go containers, there is ample seating there to enjoy your meal. While there we got a view of the campgrounds, which look very nice, with a beautiful pool. The building housing Nini's and the bar was beautiful with big windows.
