Full hook ups, good water pressure, Level gravel pads with concrete porch and a fire pit, fast WiFi when the park isn't packed, very friendly and helpful staff, Bar/grill was nice, 1.5 mile walking trail through the old golf course, kid/pet friendly. I highly recommend staying here if in the area. They shut down the store in the winter but have a section of sites that stays open thru winter.

We live this KOA - very clean and well kept, lots of stuff for the kids to do, staff is friendly and helpful and the food in the bar/restaurant is great!!! Definitely our Fav KOA!

The BEST KOA we've ever stayed! The employees were very accommodating. The thing that were available for the children / grandchildren at no cost were tremendous. The food was excellent and the service was great. The sites are very spacious and the cleanliness was excellent. We will stay here again and would highly recommend.

KOAs are our favorite campgrounds. We wanted to take a last weekend before too cold and decided to explore a new KOA. The lots are nicely spaced with concrete patios, built in firepit and newer picnic tables. Restaurant and bar is nice feature. Grounds are well maintained and clean. This is now our KOA of choice! Note: Could use a shower room in the back section.

Not happy at all about how our reservation problem was handled. We booked specific sites in August and they were given to someone else in September and we are the ones that had to move in order to be with the rest of our group!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This minor misunderstanding was resolved instantly upon arrival. The group was never separated, only shifted down but still together. No specific sites were requested at the time of reservation only to be together. I am sorry that small issue ruined your entire experience and resulted in a 3 star.

Stayed at Mt Gilead KOA for the entire summer. Staff does superior job of making this a fun campground. Lots of activities for adults and kids. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

The Hanawalt Family has done a great job with this place in a short amount of time since they opened. Great place to camp! Can't wait to get back next season.

Mt. Gilead KOA is over the top with camper activities and hospitality. I have stayed at KOA’s around the US and none compare. I would highly recommend Mt. Gilead KOA.

Fantastic, new campground. They've thought of just about everything. Love the big sites and the large number of pull through sites. Would like more buddy sites, but not a show stopper. Can't wait to book one of the sites with the dog runs. What a great idea! Also, the restaurant/bar was great and really appreciated being able to order delivery to our site. Great communication. Great prices!

The campground has the nicest setup we have seen! We liked the way the sites were staggered and spaced between one. This was the first zKOA that had a restaurant and bar. The people were very friendly and accommodating!

The nicest campground we have been to. The staff is top notch. The activities that are planned are amazing. We love having a bar/ restaurant on site. Will definitely go back. Close to the outlet malls.

We are here for the eclipse and the staff have been so nice. It's a large, clean campground with a family -run feel.

This review is primarily for "Nini's: A Sister Concept", the new breakfast and lunch restaurant located on-site but open to the public. We dined on there on opening day and we're very impressed! They have a good selection of traditional breakfast foods and sandwiches for lunch, including paninis (from which their name is derived.) I had the chicken, bacon, ranch (CBR) panini, and it was delicious! The chicken breast was tender, the bacon was crispy, and the ranch sauce was a perfect complement. My husband had the smash burger panini with their special sauce and Swiss cheese. We split an order of onion rings, which were quite good for a quick service restaurant. Although meals come in to-go containers, there is ample seating there to enjoy your meal. While there we got a view of the campgrounds, which look very nice, with a beautiful pool. The building housing Nini's and the bar was beautiful with big windows.
