Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, you must Call or Email the office at (304)-322-8562 or [email protected] before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit, minus a $20 Cancellation Fee.  Text notifications of cancellation are not acceptable. Refunds are not given for early departures. Cancellations made after deadlines result in the forfeit of deposit.

RV and Tent Sites: 7 Days Cancellation notice is required.  Notify the Mylan Park KOA by 4pm 7 days before your scheduled arrival. 

Cabins: 14 days Cancellation notice required.  Notify the Mylan Park KOA by 4pm two weeks before your scheduled arrival. Holiday weekends and WVU Football Home Games require full stay deposit and have a 30 day cancellation notice. Notify the Mylan Park KOA 30 days before your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made 14 to 29 days out will receive a 50% refund.

Group Cancellation Policy:

Groups Reserving 20 or more sites. Cancellations made 60 days or more before the arrival date will receive a refund, minus the standard cancellation fee. Cancellations made 30 to 59 days before the arrival date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will result in a complete forfeiture of the deposit.

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
