Gravel and dirt, but mostly level. Absolutely beautiful surroundings of Monument Valley for sunset and sunrise pictures. Very nice restrooms and showers.

I found the KOA to be very clean and laid out nicely, with lots of room between sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I asked, they provided maps and recommendations for sites to see. The campground is conveniently located off Highway 163, making it an easy drive to most of the sites within Monument Valley area. I do recommend staying here if you are passing through the area.

Of course fabulous location. All hookups worked fine. Internet was sometimes a pain. And no hot water in the showers. Owner supposedly fixed it on my second day. Nope- at $100/nite, a hot shower would be nice. He actually blamed the shower heads. People come for a night and leave. He doesnt care.

We loved our short stay. Peaceful and restful. The views of the desert and the monuments were fantastic. We want to come back for a longer stay and do a jeep ride and/or horseback ride.

Too many flies everywhere. Need to spray for bugs around campsites and especially around dumpster. Tables and fire pits should be marked with site numbers because camper next to me used my table and fire pit. Also need to offer a way to stream tv.

Nice campground. I like it close to Monument Valley Tribal Park. It’s clean I Will sure recommend this place to friends.

Spots were a little small this park has some of the most amazing views of any park we visited with more national parks and monuments within a hour drive You could spend a week there and not see it all

Great location across from Monument valley. So convenient! Spacious level site, and wonderful staff. The only improvement we could suggest is to smooth out the entrance to the facility. Pretty rough on and off the highway. Would be great to increase the amount of hot water for showers. There wasn't any when we used them. Despite that, we'd definitely stay there again!

Good for the one night stop over on our way to the Grand Canyon clean toilets and showers and a bonus was the free coffee in the office and the friendly staff

the young lady who runs the office made this stay exceptionally good: she was kind, helpful, a good communicator and was always available to answer questions (best place for sunset/sunrise, Jeep rental, etc). This camp is very fortunate to have this responsible young lady working here

Grounds are very good! Don’t expect good cell or internet service. Staff are pleasant. Definitely do a tour with a guide. Also gouldings is a great restaurant for a night out Would recommend and will come back. Thanks KOA!

New campground. Nice people, nice laundry facilities (although 1/3 of the units were out of order), good location. The only serious issue was the flies, and there were lots of them. There is a horse-riding facility adjacent to the campground (and the horses often escape the corral and wander through the campground), with resulting horse excrement - and flies - in and/or near the campground.

Great place, magnificent scenery, perfect organisation. The only negative thing was a swarm of flies attacking our RV because of the horses nearby. They calm down in the evening so it’s not a big deal. Without them it would be just perfect! We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Very friendly and helpful. David helped us with a jeep rental for visiting the valley, and we really appreciated that. All facilities were nice and clean and in great shape.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The laundry and bathrooms were clean and I loved that the laundry had it's own coin dispenser and open 24-7. The paw pen was a nice size. With that said, the cost of $110 per night for a basic site is quite expensive for a campground with no other amenities. We would stay again, but not for 4 nights.

I expected a little more from this KOA.Weird pocket of trailers and RV's in the middle of the desert. Proximity to the valley loop was good, but unfortunately we were told by the front desk agent that the loop was open 6am-6pm - so we went at 6am on our last day only to be told the gate didn't open for the loop until 8am. Tight sites, but quiet at night. Should hand out fly swatters at check-in.

View was nice of Monument Valley. Sites were rather small. Our neighbors picnic table was right next to our power pedestal and neighbors on the other side of us apparently could not figure out what picnic table to use so they used our picnic table for our spot. Access road from highway to enter and exit KOA was rough and needs grading.

Best KOA I’ve been to. Definitely the cleanest showers/restrooms. Monument Valley and Valley of the Gods nearby, on-site jeep rental a must if you don’t have a 4x4.

Very nice park so close to Monument Valley. The staff is friendly and helpful. Tours can be arranged from the campground, including horseback rides. It is a Journey park so light on amenities.

One of the nicest KOA's we've ever stayed at. Clean and up to date, maintenance of the campground was excellent. Front office staff friendly and very nice.

APRIL2024: Staying here was an smooth and pleasant experience. The KOA is kept clean. It features clean bathrooms, gated dog park w/ doggy bags, laundry, RV sites (power, water,dump,trash), tent sites, children playground. They offer horse rides through the valley at a very fair price. Ask about it when you book your stay. My family discovered that they offer jeep rentals as well. Not sure what the price is, but you can use them to drive yourself through the dirt roads in the valley. This KOA is right off the highway. The only downside is that they don't offer many items in the KOA store. So before you arrive to the koa, make sure to go to the store down the road first if you're in need of items. Thanks for such a great stay.

Fantastic views right out the front door. Very clean and super helpful friendly staff. Great playground and enclosed dog park. Will definitely be back!!
