For the maximum price you get the minimum of Site, no amenities to speak of. I feel it is way overpriced compared to other KOA’s simply taking advantage of the fact that there little to no other campgrounds in the area.

Super friendly checkin staff, fantastic views in every direction, large sites w/picnic table/BBQ pit; clean modern restrooms, nice size shower stalls w/hooks and bench; about 1.5mi from Navajo Tribal Park entrance gate ($8/per person per day - credit card only); book Tribal Tours at KOA Office (highly recommend this tour company). is just off the Hwy but road noise not bad, night sky is awesome.

We were there during the 2023 full solar eclipse and met people from around the world. The owner & staff were very helpful & friendly. There is horseback riding & Jeep rentals on site. You are a guest in the Navajo Nation while in the valley, be respectful of the culture. Know before go about vehicle restrictions while visiting the Monument Valley Park and other outstanding parks in the area.

We were pleasantly surprised!! The bathrooms were clean and bright. The showers were warm in the women’s bathroom but the men’s showers were freezing cold (by more than one report). The grounds were clean and well maintained. You can’t beat the scenery! Would definitely stay again!

Although the campground is small, it is kept clean and has the beauty of Monument Valley right there! Dog park was a plus, too.

Very convenient location. Bath house is excellent - so clean, new, and well equipped. One of the nicest I have been in!

David, the owner was such a great knowledge about the area and the campsites in impeccable condition. He even suggested a tour and setting it up to visit Monument Valley.

Surrounded by monuments which change with the sunrises and sunsets! Only 2 miles to fuel, restaurant and groceries. Night sky was amazing! Most sites are pull-throughs but tight. Staff was very helpful.

Internet was non-working. They need a Starlink system with mega capacity. Further, they need a swimming pool and a hot tub. Given the cost, this should not be a problem. The KOA in Moab, UT has these ameneties and they sre nice for the long and tired traveler. Something someone needs to think about?

Gravel and dirt, but mostly level. Absolutely beautiful surroundings of Monument Valley for sunset and sunrise pictures. Very nice restrooms and showers.

I found the KOA to be very clean and laid out nicely, with lots of room between sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I asked, they provided maps and recommendations for sites to see. The campground is conveniently located off Highway 163, making it an easy drive to most of the sites within Monument Valley area. I do recommend staying here if you are passing through the area.

Of course fabulous location. All hookups worked fine. Internet was sometimes a pain. And no hot water in the showers. Owner supposedly fixed it on my second day. Nope- at $100/nite, a hot shower would be nice. He actually blamed the shower heads. People come for a night and leave. He doesnt care.

We loved our short stay. Peaceful and restful. The views of the desert and the monuments were fantastic. We want to come back for a longer stay and do a jeep ride and/or horseback ride.

Too many flies everywhere. Need to spray for bugs around campsites and especially around dumpster. Tables and fire pits should be marked with site numbers because camper next to me used my table and fire pit. Also need to offer a way to stream tv.

Spots were a little small this park has some of the most amazing views of any park we visited with more national parks and monuments within a hour drive You could spend a week there and not see it all

APRIL2024: Staying here was an smooth and pleasant experience. The KOA is kept clean. It features clean bathrooms, gated dog park w/ doggy bags, laundry, RV sites (power, water,dump,trash), tent sites, children playground. They offer horse rides through the valley at a very fair price. Ask about it when you book your stay. My family discovered that they offer jeep rentals as well. Not sure what the price is, but you can use them to drive yourself through the dirt roads in the valley. This KOA is right off the highway. The only downside is that they don't offer many items in the KOA store. So before you arrive to the koa, make sure to go to the store down the road first if you're in need of items. Thanks for such a great stay.

Fantastic views right out the front door. Very clean and super helpful friendly staff. Great playground and enclosed dog park. Will definitely be back!!
