We've been staying at the Mitchell SD KOA in October for 13 years straight. It has always be a nice campground but, the last few years, with the new owners Mark and Stephanie, it's a great campground. Super clean. Super accommodating. Great bathrooms and showers. Great laundry area. A convenience store that always has exactly what we need. The new owners are AWESOME! See you in Oct 2024! Matt G

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

We were tired from travelling and this was a nice clean, well-kept place to stop for the night. We met the owner as we were trying to get our 40' into our spot and he noticed there was a tree down so he quickly moved us to another site.

Friendly staff. Excellent campground with mature trees and an awesome shower & wash room. We loved that pizza was available for delivery to our site after a long days drive.

Our experience from booking to checking out was superb! The hosts/owners were so great and helpful! You can tell they take great pride in their KOA! The bathrooms, grounds, outdoor activities, dog park and sites were all very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back in the Spring!

Very nice campground and we have never been treated better than we were by Mark and Stephanie! Unbelievably clean restrooms, laundry and facility. The longer pull-through sites were wonderful. Can’t wait to stay there again.

This was our second stay at the campground. Probably one of the things that makes this campground stand out from others is the owners. They were so friendly and worked hard to make our stay perfect. The campground was kept very clean. A walking trail and no leash area was available for our dog. There are several storm shelters spread through out the park. We will be back next year.

This is by far the best KOA we’ve stayed in! Very personable folks, spaced out the campers since they had room, most places squeeze everyone together even if they have room. Bathroom/showers were the cleanest we’ve seen! We had a great stay!

This was by far the best KOA we stayed att during our month long trip. The staff was wonderful, the store was well stocked (even tho it was the end of the season), the site was clean and well maintained, the restrooms were spotless). We would seriously consider going out of our way to stay at this campground again.

All went well. Hosts were polite and accommodating. Campsites were clean and maintained. They were very close together, but since it wasn't full, it seemed like enough room. Could do without all the WIND, but don't think they can do anything about that.

The owners were very welcoming and fun to talk to. Our site was a big pull thru and we had no issues with low hanging branches. Campground is well maintained.

Great park, our site near the creek was amazing. Definitely come back. Unfortunately the app listed the camp as open all year, and we paid for full services, but signs at registration said no on site water. Office was closed earlier the. We expected so we couldn’t buy firewood. Up to date information would have been nice

Great Place to Be. Cleanest KOA you will ever visit. The Staff is Amazing. They treat you like Family. Also, Cleanest bathrooms ever and Spacious Sites.

Very quick overnight, but the owners were the nicest most helpful people ever. Didn't really have time to check the amenities. The washrooms were the best so far.

Mark and Steffany were a blast to hang out with! Mark is a big fan of lemonade!! � The campground is well managed, spacious and very accommodating for our coach and trailer. The cooler is well stocked with a large selection of various beers. We will definitely stay again in our future travels! Looking forward to hanging out with them again!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mark and Stefanie (owners) are awesome people. They made us feel welcome. Mark helped us locate our site even though we arrived after 9:00 pm due to bad weather. They also helped us when we got locked out of our unit. The campground is well maintained and beautiful with shade trees. Facilities very clean. Definitely recommend !!

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
