Campground hosts are great. They truly appreciate that you chose their facility & it shows. It’s a peaceful campground in a rural setting yet only minutes from Mitchell or the interstate. Highly recommend. Be sure to visit the bakeries in downtown Mitchell. Best cupcakes & cheesecake ever.

Gorgeous campground with beautiful tree covered grassy sites. Everything was super clean and well cared for. Staff was so friendly and we will definitely stay again.

Short overnight stay. The owner were very accommodating. Due to recent heavy rainfall some sites were a little muddy. The owners aware and changed our site to a dry one at check in. The bathrooms are the best we’ve seen in any campground/rv park we have ever been in.

Staff is very helpful. My RV windshield washer is apparently broken (I thought it was just empty) and my windshield was totally bug covered. Mark lent me a hose nozzle and brush so that I could clean my windshield and see again. They are so pleasant and helpful at Mitchell KOA

Super nice campsite hosts. Very accommodating! Great campsites for both stays. We had to cut our vacation short due to a family emergency and they got us set up at the last minute to stay for one night as we passed back through Mitchell, SD on our way home. We will definitely visit this campground again when traveling through South Dakota.

Just a quick stop here but it was great! Cleanest bathroom and showers on the whole trip. Great host and hostess. Helpful and friendly. Will definitely stop again! Thanks.

Perfect one night stop while traveling cross-country. The owners are very friendly, personable, & helpful. Facilities are clean & well-kept. Nice sites, easy in & out. Lots of area to walk the dogs, plus a nice dog run.

Had been 3 years since we stayed at Mitchell KOA. Under new ownership now and noticed a number of new improvements since our last stay. Restrooms, camp store, and other facilities nicely done and much improved. Will stay again when passing through.

Beautiful campground and facilities! The couple that is “in charge” were so very nice and helpful! I was amazed at the women’s restroom sinks!! All of the facilities are extremely clean.

We were arriving late and they called us to confirm our arrival and explain where to pick up our registration map. Also placed us in a spot adjoining our friends we were meeting. Clean facilities- we will be back

This is a beautiful little park. We stayed in a big rig Renegade 45 ft Super C towing our car on a trailer. There was plenty of room for us to maneuver. Entering and exiting was easy. Many beautiful trees and the park is well maintained. Our hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. We will most definitely stay here again.

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
