Stephanie and Mark are outstanding, conscientious owners who care about their customers comfort and safety during their stay. The campground is so well cared for as is the store, patio, and laundry. Stephanie caught that the online reservation system put us in a 50 amp site when we need only 30 amps. She worked with me in changing the sites and pricing and made timely recommendations about town.

We had a very quiet and peaceful stay at the KOA at Mitchell.SD. Far enough off the interstate so it was quiet, but still close enough to make it very convenient.

Stephanie was the most cheerful, friendliest and helpful person I’ve ever met. The bathrooms super clean. Nice dog off leash area and mowed walking area. Off the interstate enough that it’s quiet but close and easy to get to. Will definitely stop again

This is our go-to campground in the Mitchell SD area. Is the nicest and best maintained KOA that we’ve stayed at and we’ve stayed at a lot of them! We’ve been there twice and would definitely recommend the campground. And you won’t find a nicer couple than Mark and his wife as owners! We will stop again if ever back in the area!!! Thanks!!!

Mark and Steffanie made me and my dog very welcome from the first time. I had initially planned on staying 2 nights, but the campground was perfect for my dog to get plenty of exercise. After being on the road for 6 weeks, one more day of rest was added.

This is the most enjoyable campground. Beautiful, quiet and roomy spaces, super clean, well maintained and attractive bathrooms, nice store and laundry facility. Everything is tops. It was a pleasure N to stay 3 weeks. Thank you.

The hosts went way beyond to make us comfortable. We stayed in a cabin which had a small fridge, which was a nice bonus. Air conditioning units and a ceiling fan were nice on a warm night. It would sure be nice to have two chairs in a cabin that sleeps 6.

This was well beyond the normal campground. We loved staying here and if we are in the area again will gladly return. Super clean and neat facilities. Also very quiet.

Stephany and Mark are marvelous ambassadors for KAO. Diligent, kind, thoughtful and hardworking.Responsive to each campers needs and shows love and direction to all.Both are full of smiles. Amazing grounds, well kept,spaced nicely apart with trees and bushes, easy access to the office, bathrooms, showers and water. Great sunrises and sets.My cabin could use a smidge of caulk, to slow the breeze SD

What a great KOA! We've been to many but this place goes above and beyond! Stephanie and John are awesome! The sites are level,mowed, and spacious. Safety is taken seriously and storm shelters are located throughout the park. The place is absolutely beautiful and spotless! This KOA deserves awards. Thank you for doing what you do!

Very clean park, site was ample for our 40" RV and tow vehicle. Convenient access from the freeway, with limited road noise. Nicely appointed store -- all the necessaries and then some! Dog park area was nice, with an additional large grassy area for further exploration. We'll stop again!

The man at the front desk was one of the most knowledgeable people that we have ever met at a koa about how motorhomes and trailers work. Everyone was very friendly. Great place.

I do not recommend to my friends because I want them to remain a friend; my tastes and theirs do not always line up. That being said I have traveled over 20,000 miles this summer and stayed at many KOAs this summer (>20); this was one of the most pleasant visits of the year (so far). Thank you for a wonderful campground.

This was my first time staying at a KOA. Stephanie & Mark were very friendly and helpful. I received some help navigating my trailer hook ups, as a newbie it was a huge relief! Facilities were immaculate, beautiful bathrooms. Awesome surprise to find local wines and artisan products in their gift shop! Awesome hospitality! Highly recommend staying here! I love this campground! This was my first stay @ KOA & I am new to trailer ownership. Stephanie & Mark's hospitality was amazing, from the check in phone calls, to confirming my 30amp needs. Awesome store with local artisan wines & crafts, got Yule gifts off my list!! Facilities were spotless, beautiful bathrooms! Views of sunrise and sunset were awesome! Highly recommend! KOA was right off of I90. Very easy to find. I had a 30 amp FHU site which was perfect.Hosts are the owners which is a relief when you might have an issue. Excellent WiFi, plenty of room to drive to your site. Owners were courteous. Will definitely stay again .

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
