The new owners were very accomodating, nice and easy to work with, the bathrooms were very nice and clean, however we could not eat outside or enjoy a fire or anything because the bugs were so bad. We purchased bug spray, a bug zapper, 6 tiki lights and also built a campfire but nothing helped and it really ruined our weekend. Also we felt that the rates were very high per night.

The pool has been removed! Right next to a cow farm lots of bugs. It was good enough for a nite

It’s a great campground and the hosts are very friendly & helpful, but while we were there (1 night) in late May, the flying insects were unbearable. We had to stay at beside our camper on an otherwise beautiful evening. The owners really need to spray (. Or something) to reduce or eliminate the problem.

Awesome people running it. The bathrooms are like walking into 5 star hotel. (Not the camp sites fault but, the knats are overwhelming.)

Host’s were awesome definitely willing to go the extra mile as I needed a long space for my camper and boat. They guided me perfectly to my spot. They really made me feel welcome. Campground was in great shape

Because of all the bugs around the camp. There’s a big farm next door attracting the bugs. I was there in may so I’m not sure it gets any better in latter months. No pool.

The staff was very helpful. Although, some of the younger girls that are working there are very rude and disrespectful. That was the ONLY issue I had while staying here. - It happened a total of 3 times, all by employee's that were students. The owners were amazing: before, during and on our way out! The site was perfect, which we got to pick out. The bathrooms were spectacular!! The best bathroom

We were a late arrival, and the proprietors were still around to welcome us and make sure we got to our spot ok! The bathrooms were lovely but we didn’t get to take advantage of the other amenities, but it looked like a fun campground! Would stay again!

We have stayed here many times on our way west. We really like the convenience of the cabins. We like the updating of this camp. Kitchen Sink by the bathrooms, and store products. Bathrooms and showers are very nice. Thanks for a good stay.

This was our First Visit to KOA in Mitchell. What a wonderful Surprise. Clean, Super clean and Friendly Staff. We were even greeted by someone coming outside to see us as we pulled into the Campground. Wish all the KOA were like this one. We will be staying here again later this Summer.

Sites are way to close to each other. Water and electricity are in bad spots. Park is infested by flys and nats. Having cattle next door doesn’t help. Worst KAO we have been to. Only opening in area. Would have rather stayed home. Pulled out early it was so bad.

Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly. Site was nice and level. Grass needed to be mowed while we were there but they were busy working on other improvements and were probably going to mow the next day before the holiday weekend.

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
