This is a well kept campground. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. They made sure we were bailout with our site and didn't need anything else. The campground is convenient to Mitchell and all the town has to offer. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

Ultra friendly staff. EZ off EZ on to I-90. I like this KOA and would stay again in a heartbeat. Check out the storm shelters. Would guess they are the strongest I've seen.

Sites are a little tight but workable. Fun activities for kids - putt putt & playground. Lovely shower house.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Mitchell KOA while traveling cross country and probably won’t be the last. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed for the pool for the kids while traveling and they hadn’t updated their website to show they no longer had a pool. Sites are extremely small and cramped. Bathroom is clean but overall expensive for what you get compared to other KOAs.

Owners and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Facilities were very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing makes you feel comfortable quite as much as a very friendly, caring staff that will help you with just about anything. It was raining when we pulled up to the office but a wonderful lady came out of the building with an umbrella just to make sure we didn’t get soaked when checking in! If that’s not first class service then I don’t know what is and that’s just one example! wonderful

The pull thru sites were too narrow! No more than 6’ between our campsite and fire pit area of neighbors!

Friendliest campground we have stayed in since our trip began in Florida. We only stay in KOA so this one was the BEST!! Love the storm shelters and glad we didnt need one! Clean, professional. I would rate more than 5 stars if we could.

Hands down the friendliest and most accommodating staff at any KOA we’ve ever been to. Campground was extremely clean and well maintained. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful campground that’s well maintained. Nice store, laundry facility, bathrooms are clean and recently renovated to be the nicest I’ve seen, and owners are very attentive. Campground is going through improvements and overall park is an excellent choice for a stay.

Our first time at a KOA and we were not sure what to expect. It was great! We were very pleased. The camp was clean and orderly. The staff was considerate and eager to please. Everyone we met there, including staff and other guests, was friendly. Just a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely stay at the Mitchell KOA again. The only discomfort were the gnats under the trees.

Great campground hosts helping you with whatever you needed. I thought there was a pool, but it was filled in for a patio. Somewhat disappointed.. Super clean nice bathrooms and showers

Thank you for the review. Sorry you were disappointed in the fact we do not have a pool anymore. We had to remove the pool at the end of last year. If you saw pool pictures online, we can not control pictures on any travel website except our own KOA website.

Convenient KOA right off I-90 but far enough away that there was no highway noise. Great overnight stay. Campsites are close to each other so very little privacy but that is what we expect from a KOA Journey. We used the the laundry and bathroom facilities. Both very clean. They have fiber optic WiFi installed with great bandwidth. This is the first KOA that I was successful at live streaming TV.

Tuna was one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed at. The people running this campground were absolutely fantastic. We will be staying here every year when we come to Mitchell South Dakota.

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
