Nice campground, everything I would expect from a KOA. The staff was super and the site was OK. Check-in was without issue. Very close to Mitchell. Please be ready with fly abatement. We sat out around 5PM and 2 flies became 30 in about 5 minutes. Again, great park. FYI, if you want to avoid afternoon sun, stay on the low number side.

This was our second stay at the Mitchell KOA and it was a relaxing and peaceful experience. The staff has always been very friendly while remaining professional to their assigned duties. Mark was especially supportive and helpful to ensure we had a pleasant experience while staying within the guidelines for parking an extra vehicle. I would highly recommend this campground.

Just passing through on my way home to Pennsylvania and pulled in without a reservation just for the night and very accommodating to put us in a spot even though they were very busy. Nice people to deal with and very nice and clean campground.

Very nice campground and the people there are great. The only problem we had is sewer hookup was to far for us to use it even with the two additional extender hoses that we had with us.

Best KOA I’ve ever experienced! We were greeted upon arrival by the owner with a friendly smile and a welcome. We stayed in an upgraded cabin, it was fabulous and very comfortable, and white glove clean. Campground atmosphere was phenomenal. The restroom and shower facility was spotless and smelled fragrant. This KOA is an example setter for all KOA owners to follow. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice place. Fairly quiet. Don’t arrive early! We had to sit for two hours as we arrived at noon but they wouldn’t allow us to park in our site until the 2 pm check in time. Otherwise it was a nice stop. We stayed for 3 nights.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had blown out two tires on the way and they were able to recommend a tire place that fixed us up fast. The sites were the most level of any KOA I’ve stayed at. The place looked great and the next time we come through I plan on staying more than 1 night. It really looked great.

Awesome campground. Clean with spacious pull through spots and clean bathrooms. We stop here each time we are passing through. New owners are courteous and friendly.

Ten minutes before the scheduled cleaning, the shower house was the cleanest, best equipped showers I have ever had the pleasure of showering in! There were hooks for my towels and clothes, sturdy bench to sit on and a self for all the products I chose to bring to use on my hair! The curtain was long to keep the water is the enclosure so my floor towel didn't get soaked! It is also pretty!

After an eventful day of sightseeing and traveling we arrived to our comfortable, well-maintained cabin. The bathroom and showers were very clean! The owners were very gracious hosts and extremely helpful. Upon arrival I managed to irreparably break my phone/gps they were able to help me locate and map out a phone provider close to my next destination (4hrs away). Very grateful!

The owners were friendly, and we had a lot of laughs as got checked into our site. The place was clean (site, bathroom, showers). We had no problems with check-in and out stay. It was a great experience.

The host showed us to our spot. The store had ice and a few groceries. The showers were large and clean. We were just there for the night. Definitely would stop here again if it's on our way.

Your KOA was lovely, clean and beautiful! I love that your info sheet said that you do allow guns on your premises!! The only negative for me was the scented smells. I am scent sensitive. I smelled scents in the store, laundry room and bathroom. I know the scent in the store was wax melts. I believe those chemical scents are toxic and I don't like to be around them. Thanks, Julie

The smallest of all the KOA's that i have stayed at. Amazing owners. I loved the tent camping configuration. The Lau dry and washrooms were amazing.

Great hosts -- very friendly and welcoming. Store is well stocked with most things that you might need. Park is far enough from I90 that the highway noise is minimal.

We have stayed here several times. Close to the interstate and few hours from badlands so it's a convenient stop. Mitchell is fairly decent sized city in case you need to pick up items. Staff extremely pleasant

We were super impressed! Bathrooms + cabin was super clean, never stayed anywhere that was that clean! VERY friendly staff, store has reasonable prices and was also super clean! Had fun activities to do for both kids + adults! I would highly recommend this to everybody! We did not want to leave! Thank you!

This has got to be the nicest koa we have ever stayed at. We usually bring our RV but this trip we took a cabin. Very nice clean new floors A/C bathrooms were immaculate with the showers attached above you like a rain shower. The staff is super friendly the store has everything you need including nice shirts and sweatshirts. You really need to see this campground it’s simply wonderful

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
