Very cool

Very clean cabin. Exceeded or expectations and was a perfect alternative to staying in a hotel. We would come back with the kids for sure!

Nice large park with close proximity to lots of shopping. We were not overly impressed with the breakfast buffet, next time I would pass and definite improvement needed with the coffee.

We had a great time at the Missoula KOA. Everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful. The campground was very well kept and clean. Location was great as well was close to shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the Big Bear Cabin and it was great.

The "upgrade" tent site that we had (#3, I think) was perfect for us with our Eurovan. The site was level, the table was convenient, and the short walk to the restrooms and outdoor sink was fine. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. We would stay there any time we are in that vicinity.

Been there many times, great place to stay when fishing Missoula area.

The tent site I was in (T-14) was great. Definitely one of the "poshest" sites ever. I really loved the private feeling and the cement pad and counter. My only issues were that quiet time didn't start until 11, and I believe 10 would have been better. Also, the street light was right across from my site so it was a little bright at night, but I suppose that street lights are essential.

This has one of the most friendly KOA staff we have stayed at and the park is very well kept. We returned to this park (first time was 4 years ago). Breakfast could have been better.

Hot tub & pool are wonderful after a long drive. Bathrooms & all facilities were so clean & no bugs. Cabin was GREAT. Thank you for asking the kids to stop screaming by the pool. I know kids make noise but it was dificult to tell if they were in need of assistance.

We stayed in the camping village and it was great. The light from the bathroom was shining on us all night, not sure how you would fix that, but it was very bright. Also, we requested if we could have one of the sites facing the back but were told they were booked, yet nobody showed up, so I am not sure why we could not have taken that site.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When a campers pays and makes a reservation for a site it is theirs. We have no way of knowing when or if they will actually show up but we have to keep it open. Many campers do not arrive here until late in the evening.

It was a very traumatic experience for us as a dog attacked our dog and my dog was kicked out of the KOA due to the fact that he defended himself!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The dog in question was a Bull Mastiff. The "attacking " dog was a Miniature Schnauzer that ended up having surgery to replace the intestines that were hanging from it's abdomen. By all accounts from witnesses the Mastiff was not able to be controlled by it's owner. We cannot allow a dog in the park that is capable of that behavior.

We asked KOA staff if we could extend our stay as our new truck had broke down and was in the dealer for repairs before we could leave the KOA. Staff assured us that they were completely booked up and had no choice but to place us in the old broken section of the park with no sewer connection. My only issue is that at least 15 full hookup spots went unused for two days, ugh! But staff was nice.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If camper saw 15 empty sites it was because the reservations had not yet arrived. There may have been several available sites but they were not large enough to accommodate the rig. Everything works fine in our water/electric only sites. Just doesn't have sewer.

I had serious mechanical problems with my motor home and ai needed to stay several additional days in Missoula in order to get back on the road. Linda, at the front desk, worked tirelessly so I could extend my stay in order to get my mechanical issues taken care of. The entire crew at the from desk operated as a team to make sure my problems were addressed. They are the BEST!!!

great, staff was awesome.

Can't say enough good things about it. Good shade, staff and dog park
Aug 27, 2017
Great organization and spaces - enough room between trailers and not trying to fit too much into one area. Wonderful dog runs.
Aug 27, 2017
It was ok. Beds were very uncomfortable, but I guess it's to be expected at a campground.
Aug 27, 2017
We weren't able to get a site with sewer connection but otherwise it was very nice. Well maintained and people were also very nice.

Loved this spacious KOA. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to stay a few days. Pool and laundry facilities are clean and user friendly. Good place to ride bikes.
Aug 27, 2017
We stayed at this facility for a week and we would have a nicer site. The site we were the grass was dead and no shade. Evidently, the grass doesn't get watered in these sites. Very disappointed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have not had rain in over 2 months, a record for Missoula. Our check-out time is 11 AM and check-in is 3 PM. We use this time for maintenance and watering. However, many guests ignore the check-in time and arrive as early as 9 AM, making it impossible for us to get many of the sites watered. We could have possibly moved this camper to another site if he had let us know he was unhappy.

Husband and I stayed here heading to Yellowstone for 28th Anniversary. Clean park. Outstanding, friendly Koa employees. A personal escort to our site (never seen at several KOA parks visited), the gal who was a head of your landscaping was informative of KOA workers program (which we are interested in) and Richard who gave my husband a hand with squeaky bars on our new trailer. Above and beyond

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Happy Anniversary!

Soon after we got set up my sister-in-law stopped by. She lives in Msla and had come by to drop something off. Immediately a man in a golf cart told her she had to move her car to the overflow. Once she stood up it should have been easy to see that she has mobility problems. He was very rude and she did not stay after he came back and told her to move again.

We checked in the day before the eclipse and were glad to receive excellent service. This was the second time we have stayed there and we will return again.

The mattresses in the little log cabins are so uncomfortable I could hardly sleep. Next time I will have to bring a softer foam pad.
Aug 26, 2017
The Animal Wonders program was awesome! Also, we have stayed at RV parks all over the U.S. and your dog park/exercise area is by far the best we have ever seen.
