Though our visits was short it was a wonderful experience. We were passing through from Theodore Roosevelt NP to Chicago. Took a couple hours longer than we thought (as usual). They were so accommodating waiting after hours to meet us. The staff was amazing. Grounds were beautiful. Bathrooms spotless and large. Will definitely stay again on our next trip out and plan on spending more time.

Nice staff. Large lovely trees. Water is very brown and has iron in it. Nice pool, dog park and playground. Great base for visiting central Minnesota.

The office staff have been wonderful. This campground is close to our daughter so this is not a first time stay. Our grandkids enjoyed the playground. The bathrooms are immaculate.

Extremely dusty especially on north side sites. The dump trucks on the gravel rode, no more than 100 feet away, created unbearable amounts dust. It’s unlikely I will stay here again.

My friend and I made reservations late and the campground was able to honor our request to be next to each other. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is one of our favorite campgrounds.

It was a nice stay. Highway noise is an issue if you're a light sleeper. There really isn't a "tent pad" as advertised, but it's all flat areas and they're decently groomed. Mosquitoes are an issue, as the swamp/pond is adjacent to the campground.

We camped in a tent for the weekend and the campground was clean, quiet and easy to navigate. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and showed us to our spot once we checked in. Bathrooms were clean and stocked, showers were clean, pool was clean and the kids had a blast. Definitely going to stay here again in the future! Keep up the awesome work and service!!!

Very friendly staff, dog park area was fantastic! We live on a farm and our dogs struggle with leashes, but this gave them an opportunity to run around.

We spent two nights at Minneapolis KOA Northwest and found it very comfortable. The pool was clean and inviting, bathrooms spotless, and sites easy to navigate. We would return to this campground if we make another trip to Minneapolis.

Great location, easy access off interstate, clean and quiet well kept park. Older facilities but well cared for. Restrooms could be updated and improved to have at least one ADA accessible restroom snd shower on the property

Stayed in cabin #1, The cabin was adequate though both adults could smell urine possibly on the mattress or frame when we were sleeping. Grounds and pool are well maintained, clean and cared for. The cabin's location was not ideal as it was close to a main road, the RV dump station and often noisy-lack of privacy as compared to State campgrounds.

Never had sewer on one side of the RV space and water and electricity on the other. I had to throw my cables under the RV to hook up! Crazy! Camp was just okay.

Was happy we could be switched to FHU. We loved the natural setting and had lots of fun with grandkids! Was surprised that our visitors had to pay a guest fee Showers were clean and adequate but small.

Clean, but needs a lot of updates. There either needs to be another bathroom or a more central located one need to be put in place for us tenters. I was finishing getting ready , was aware it was 1PM, knew that was cleaning time in the bathroom, a elderly woman with red hair jumped down my throat that she needed to clean. I was trying to get out but she didn't want to wait. Friendlier staff maybe?

Wonderful KOA off the freeway. Huge property. Older KOA, as a good thing, nice place, loved my stay, and will be back. My recommendation, for the owners: fix the bathrooms. The men showers, needs upgrades, (install new shower heads), put some capitol back into the bathrooms, the door is old, needs new mats, and there is over-powering smell of copper (rust) in water. The front lobby new carpet.

Stayed here while hunting nearby, just sleeping in the bed of my truck. Pricing was fair, bathrooms were very clean.

This KOA was amazing! The hosts and Gary truly care about their guests. They were helpful, professional, friendly and courteous. The entire property was well maintained and immaculate, including the showers. Hard to believe it's right in the city. We couldn't have been happier. We'll be back for sure.
