WOW! Beautiful big sites, well kept, level gravel, and very clean facilities. Our hosts and owners are hands on keeping it neat. This is on our visit again list! An oasis in the desert. It's quite and close to many great historic sites.

My wife and I traveled to the Apache Junction KOA as our base for business meetings in Tempe. The park is being extensively upgraded. New electrical hookups (full voltage / 50 amp service with both a/c's and other electrical appliances being used), new water hookups, spacious sites level, well graveled and groomed. All of the hookups were convenient. Convenient location. Friendly staff.

Will not return. 2nd time they put us in most expensive “deluxe” spot. Did not request/want. Arrived 3:05/Office closed at 3. Hours are 8-5. Assigned farthest spot from pool, even tho we had 2 kids obviously using the pool, it was literally 113°. Rec Room locked, sign says office had key but they r closed. Can’t use “deluxe” spot it’s too hot. $72 can’t use anything but pool. Ridicu

People were very friendly and helpful. The sites were pretty level already with pea gravel that was graded over after a travel trailer left. The only thing that needs to be added is another shower and restroom facilities in the back part of the park. It’s a ways to the shower facility that is in the front of the park and we were in the back of the park if we needed to use the facilities.

Had a Nice time at this KOA the office staff were very helpful , Shopping was close by and the ride we did around the mountains was Awsome need to see the Superstition Mountain Museum and the Ghost Town.

Construction at the KOA Apache Junction looks to be completed soon. We had some confusion about checking in and out on a 2 day stay and not sure everything was understood by the staff.

They discriminate judge and accept you to make a booking then they wait for you to get all situated and tell you that they don't want you to stay there because of the way you look

Even with the park under construction it was a great camping experience. Staff is friendly and attentive. The park is well maintained and clean. I’ll stay there again.

We were very disappointed to be placed in an active construction site. there were holes still right in front of our entrance and I could not permit my elderly mother to leave the trailer because of the danger. there were many empty sites but no one in the office to attend us.

The campgrounds were very clean and quiet. We ended up getting there a day early, but they accommodated us without any problems. There was an occasional sewer smell but it dissipated fairly quickly. The campground helper was always going around on his golf cart grooming the areas and ready to help answer any questions you might have.

Construction next to our campsite, cutting trees down within our site while we were in camper, 2 toilets in bath house with only one of them having a door. We were disappointed with our stay.

Lots of space in each camp spot. The employees were helpful with reservations and answering questions. There was some construction going on so probably more dusty then normal. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this location.

The staff was really great. The spots are good sizes. The rec room was always locked which is inconvenient. It would be nice for the K9 park to have grass and a shade as the dirt was very hot for paws, we had to seek out areas for potty breaks where there was shade..the campground has limited shade throughout, which is difficult in the summer months. Overall a good stay, recommend in cooler months

$70+ dollars a night was extremely high for this park. It was a level pull through spot, wide enough for all 3 pop outs. The neighborhood wasn’t the best, WiFi wasn’t there, and the showers were tiny. Bathroom stall also missing a door. Expected a lot more for that cost.

Site is level, power stable and water and sewer hook ups are convenient. The office staff is friendly. The pool was very refreshing!

We had electrical problems with our pedestal. Our A/C kept shutting off. The facilities are under remodeling & things were not as nice as most KOA facilities. The people working there were as helpful as they could be with the available facilities.

Very nice place to stay. Very clean and neat. There was a lot of construction going on when we were there. Lots of shopping and food options available. Gas is very high there but 30 miles outside of the city is a dollar per gallon cheaper.

The most uncomfortable 1st day ever!!! We were assigned site 90, right in the middle of the construction site with all the dust and debris, and the farthest from the showers possible. The second night luckily were were able to move to a much more comfortable site. In the best of conditions this park is hot, dusty and just sub-par for KOA.

One of the few in the phoenix area that allows kids so completion is minimal. Clean park and friendly staff. A working ice machine would be convenient and if the tree adjacent our spot didn’t have long thorns we would have enjoyed using our awning for shade.

Nicely roomy spaces, clean. Only gripe is slow WiFi, mostly 1 - 1.5 Mbps; switched over to using our phone hotspot.

Doing a lot of work on the power and water, which would have been nice to know when we booked. The whole park is tiny gravel. The dog area is dirt, which means there was no cool place for their paws. We ended up carrying them to some shade under a tree. No text message system to alert if power goes out.

An acceptable gravel KOA on a main road. Stayed here mid-Jan 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #41. General: It's an acceptable option to see some local stuff. The area smells bad some days. Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful. Sites: Our site (#41) was very spacious and had LOTS of room behind it all the way to the retaining wall at the main road. Had daily trouble with folks site cutting with dogs off-leash, and most were repeatedly disrespectful when asked to use the campground road to access the area. Campground Road: Paved/gravel mix. Campground WiFi: Could not connect on any attempt for thee 14 nights. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. But definitely needs updating. Bathrooms/Showers: Shower stalls in an open bathroom environment. Poorly light showers. Laundry: 6 washers (a couple did not work well) and 2 working dryers (1 was out of order). Pool: Did not use. Location: 3-5 min from gas and groceries. 20 min to Lost Dutchman, 45 to Casa Grande NM, 1hr 20min to Tonto. 25-35 min to Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. Near highway: Yes. Close to highway and highway noise if that bothers you. Near train: No. Cell: Verizon worked but the signal is deceiving. Spotty and caused issues with meetings cutting out. Could stream but with buffering. Cell: AT&T worked best and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.

We are full-time rv'ers. We often stay in KOA's for our short stays. This is an immaculate, well run park. No issues at all and the location is perfect for local sight seeing. The pulled pork sandwich at Papa Bears BBQ is a plus!
