The campground was very well maintained and the staff was awesome. As we pulled in we realized that we had an issue with our LP tank and one of the staff members was very helpful in diagnosing the problem.

We are a family of five humans and six dogs. We stay at KOA all over the country because they are normally kid and dog friendly. This one was definitely not. The worst part of all of this is they had about 4-5 people on golf carts patrolling all day and night. They would drive around yelling at people if they stepped one foot out of line. They were like flies that didn't go away.

Nice wide well-maintained sites. Friendly helpful staff, clean restrooms. Wish you had another building with restrooms. Also Wi-Fi connection was non-existent at our site (#78).

The campground seemed kind of neglected. The Wi-Fi was sparse and not reliable at all, kept dropping and we had to reconnect. Water pressure in the showers was low.

Not as good as usual. Full hookups but bad electric post. Had no elec one night and used 20 amp one night (still had issues). Could not use sewer dump because it was on the wrong side (site#7). I asked for a partial refund and not received that or correspondence. My electric has, and is, working perfectly well since Outside that (I know upgrades are in process) the response by the staff was A+

It was a wonderful stay. People were nice, site was spacious, campground was quiet and felt safe. I would have rated it a 5 if the wifi was decent.

Apache Junction KOA was very clean and we enjoyed our four day stay during Ironman Arizona. Was able to fill my propane and do our laundry.

Always enjoy our stay. This is the 4th year we have stayed there. The only disappointment is we couldn’t make our reservations for next year and is going to have to wait until January to make them.

Loved our peaceful stay looking out at the Beautiful Superstition Mountains easy access to the park easy access to the freeway and other activities. This is a super clean park. Very attentive employees nice hot showers, sparkling pool. We will return soon. This is our new home away from home in Arizona!

There was no heating in the men bathroom. No paper roll to dry. Bathrooms need major cleaning and shower updates.

We were extremely disappointed to learn upon checkin that this KOA doesn’t have WIFI or cable! I thought there are higher standards than this to be eligible for KOA status. Other than those to show stoppers the site was large and level.

Beautiful views. So clean. Staff was very pleasant. We found the laundry room to be clean and everything was working well. Convenient to Fry's Grocery and other stores.

We registered online and all was better than expected. We had a perfect stay even though we had a large motorhome next to us that used a power washer in the morning around 7AM. Some people!!

Very clean and well maimtained grounds. Obviously the staff take pride in the appearance of the park. Just a thought to ponder. Why make me wait across the street to check in if my spot is available. I understand lunch breaks, and appreciate the staff for all the hard work they do. But, If I had arrived after hours, I could have picked up my packet and parked myself. Thanks to the Staff.

It was different for us since we stay in smaller campgrounds! Your staff was incredible in how they took care of us and the grounds!

The staff was very nice and helpful, Wi Fi is in great need of an upgrade. even if we went to the main office area the connection was very poot. it would repeatedly kick us of line. Could not connect from our camping space even though we were fairly close to the office area.

Decent campground, showers are small, the dog park is a long walk for tent campers and there is minimal lighting around sites ( good and bad thing tho)

Our first time staying in an rv at a park. The place was very clean. The people were very professional. The park was surprisingly quiet. The amenities were good. We will definitely stay again when we go to Phoenix. And we would recommend Apache Junction KOA to everyone.

An acceptable gravel KOA on a main road. Stayed here mid-Jan 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #41. General: It's an acceptable option to see some local stuff. The area smells bad some days. Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful. Sites: Our site (#41) was very spacious and had LOTS of room behind it all the way to the retaining wall at the main road. Had daily trouble with folks site cutting with dogs off-leash, and most were repeatedly disrespectful when asked to use the campground road to access the area. Campground Road: Paved/gravel mix. Campground WiFi: Could not connect on any attempt for thee 14 nights. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. But definitely needs updating. Bathrooms/Showers: Shower stalls in an open bathroom environment. Poorly light showers. Laundry: 6 washers (a couple did not work well) and 2 working dryers (1 was out of order). Pool: Did not use. Location: 3-5 min from gas and groceries. 20 min to Lost Dutchman, 45 to Casa Grande NM, 1hr 20min to Tonto. 25-35 min to Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. Near highway: Yes. Close to highway and highway noise if that bothers you. Near train: No. Cell: Verizon worked but the signal is deceiving. Spotty and caused issues with meetings cutting out. Could stream but with buffering. Cell: AT&T worked best and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.

We are full-time rv'ers. We often stay in KOA's for our short stays. This is an immaculate, well run park. No issues at all and the location is perfect for local sight seeing. The pulled pork sandwich at Papa Bears BBQ is a plus!
