General Campground Information

Check-in/Checkout

We are a gated campground and we DO NOT offer an after-hours check-in.  
Please plan to arrive at least one hour prior to closing.  
Our office hours are: 
  • Sunday – 9am – 4pm
  • Monday – Thursday- 9am –6 pm
  • Friday - Saturday - 9am - 8pm

All RV check-ins are escorted to their campsites. ALL WEEKEND RESERVATIONS REQUIRE A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM AND MUST INCLUDE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NO SATURDAY CHECK INS ALLOWED 

Cabin Check-in: 3:00pm / Cabin Check-out: 1:00pm. No early or late check-ins/check-outs. No check-ins on Saturdays and days during holiday weekends unless you purchase previous night.

Campsites Check-in is 2:00 pm / Check-out is 1:00pm. No check-ins on Saturdays and days during holiday weekends or special event weekend unless you purchase previous night, as these have stay minimums.Check at office the evening prior to, or the morning of your check-in for all other days, and then pending availability. $5.00/Hour Charge.

Store office Hours

Store/Office Hours:  Mon-Thurs 9-6, Fri & Sat 9-8, Sun 9-4. . We are a gated campground, and we DO NOT offer after-hours check-in. Please plan to arrive at least one hour prior to closing.  Don't forget that you need a gate key card if you are leaving the park and need re-entry to the park after store hours. The gate key card is available at the store and office during posted store hours for a $10 refundable CASH deposit. When you return the card, we'll refund your cash deposit to you.

Vehicle Policy

Vehicle & Boat Restrictions:  Only 1 RV and 2 motor vehicles per site.  Please park additional vehicles in visitor parking area.  All visitors must register and pay at the office. Boats must be parked in boat parking area or overflow parking.  All vehicles must register and display a mirror tag – untagged vehicles are subject to towing at the owners expense.  Drones, Golf carts, ATVs, Off-Road Motorcycles, Mopeds, Electric Skateboards, RC vehicles of any kind, & children's ride-on battery powered vehicles are prohibited due to safety.  Charging of electric cars or boat batteries at your campsite, cabin, or a neighboring campsite is strictly prohibited.  Only one outlet on the campground electric podium may be utilized at a time.

Wi-Fi, TV Cable, and Cell Phone Service

All campsite rates include newly upgraded Wi-Fi for light surfing, emails, and social media. Our Wi-Fi is not compatible with Netflix, HBO Go, or similar programs.

We now offer complimentary cable TV on all full hookup campsites (including Seasonal sites)

We're sorry, but Verizon phone service is very limited here, but texting works. You may also try WiFi calling if your device is capable.  AT & T works here. Other brands are unknown.

Pet Policy

Pet-Friendly Campground:  No aggressive pets or excessive barking allowed. Pets must be leashed 100% of the time (6' or less), cleaned up after 100% of the time, attended to 100% of the time, and barking is to be minimized.  Our furry friends are not allowed in any buildings, including the store, pavilion, Rec. Hall, and only at approved cabin rental units, also not at any of the playgrounds at any time.  Please do not tether pets to trees, utilities, fences, posts, or buildings.

Guests Policy:

All guests and campers must register at the office and pay the prevailing visitor or camping fees.  $10.00/adult , and $5.00/child  Children under 4 are free.

10 people Per Campsite Occupancy Maximum Including Visitors

All campsites and cabin sites maximum occupancy (including visitors) is 10 people per campsite or cabin site. Any visitor's arriving after max. occupancy has been reached, will be turned away, unless proceeding visitor's have returned their window tag to the office upon departure.

Restrooms, Store, & Buildings are Pet-Free and Smoke Free

Restrooms, Store, & Other Buildings: Buildings, some cabins, and the pavilion are pet-free areas.  By state law, smoking is not permitted in any KOA building, including rental cabins. Smoking not permitted in the pool area. Please discard butts in appropriate receptacles.   A shirt and shoes are required in the store.  If a restroom is found in poor condition and needs attention, please report it to the office immediately Thank you for helping us to maintain a clean facility

Pool Hours:

Pool hours: Pool will be open starting on Memorial Day, Noon - 8pm

Fireworks, Chinese Lanterns, Weapons

The Use of Fireworks; Chinese or Japanese Lanterns; Sling Shots; BB, Airsoft, or Paintball Guns; Firearms; & Bows and Arrows Are Prohibited!  Only hand-held sparklers are permitted under adult supervision!  No throwing sparklers!  Please place used sparklers in garbage for dumpster, not your fire ring.  Thank you!

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic Beverages:  Alcohol is allowed, but is not permitted off site or in open display (i.e. Koozies are required).  No kegs allowed.  Disorderly conduct or public drunkenness will result in removal from the campground without refund!

Water & Electricity Conservation

Please Conserve Water & Electricity:  No kiddie pools, nor portable hot tubs, please.  Washing RV's and motor vehicles is prohibited!  Please try to conserve electricity by shutting off outside lights before retiring for the night.  Please do not run your air conditioning with the doors/windows open.

Bicycle Policy:

Per PA State Law and for safety: Helmets are required for all children under 12. Bike riding is restricted to daylight hours ONLY for all ages. When pole lights come on (at dusk), the bikes should be put away.
We do not allow motorized bikes or scooters on the property.

Firewood Policy:

PA Dept. of Agriculture prohibits the transportation of firewood across state lines, and does not permit transportation from county to county. Firewood may be purchased at the store/office. You may burn pre-cut, spit Crawford County firewood, only. Gathering dead logs, and cutting trees or tree branches from our wood lots is prohibited. Thank you!

Quiet Hours:

Quiet Hours are 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please call the phone numbers listed on your bulletin if you are having issues . We will respond and enforce our quiet hour policy. Day visitors must depart by 11:00. We do not allow check-ins after store/office hours.

Trash Disposal

Due to our rural location and the animals in the wooded areas near our park, we ask that you please deposit your refuse in the dumpster across from the propane station at the front of the park to the left of the gate, daily or as you depart. We thank you for disposing of your trash daily, so as to not entice our neighboring critters into the park looking to score a free and easy meal. We DO NOT offer curb service. Please do not leave your trash on your site.

Tenting Sites & tents using Electric and Water Sites

Primitive tent sites, and tenters using Water & Electric Sites are allowed one family per campsite.

Cabin & Cottages Rentals

All cabin rentals are a 2 night minimum, except holidays which are a 3-4 night minimum. One night's deposit is required for non-holiday or special event weekend and weekday rentals. Holiday rentals require payment in full at the time of the reservation. Please refer to the cancellation policy, or reservation/cancellation policy details. Cabin reservations may not start or stop on Saturdays. Cabin #1 & #3 are DOG friendly. Cabin overnight occupancy is limited to the number of people they sleep. Daytime cabin sites occupancy, including visitors, may not exceed 8 per cabin site. All visitors must register at the office/store and pay the prevailing visitor's rate.

We welcome you to Meadville KOA Journey where lifetime memories are made.

Brothers Michael and Steve Ballans, originally from Michigan, have long dreamed of owning a campground together. It was a dream come true when they, along with their wives Sherry and Dawn, purchased Meadville KOA in early 2020. Closing their personal businesses and leaving their corporate jobs in Ohio and Florida behind, the Ballans' are thrilled to begin this new, exciting adventure. We are members of ARVC, PCOA and have been avid campers for many years. We as the owners extend our warmest welcome to you and your family. We are looking forward to building relationships with our campers and hope to help create a lifetime of memories.
Our entire staff works very hard to make your stay enjoyable and fun. It is our goal to provide safe and fun family entertainment, activities, and as a whole, a wonderful camping experience. Our well-groomed facilities are sure to please you, with clean restrooms, amenities and a well-stocked store there is something for everyone.
