The campground is in a beautiful spot, with windswept majestic hiking trails to the beach. The sites are large and shady with lots of grass. The bathroom is excellent, and the hot tub and pool are beautiful and sparkling clean.

Lady who greeted us was happy to welcome us. Showed us where to go for fun and answered any questions. Clean ground, clean restrooms, great dog park. Definitely will recommend and book again to stay.

We really like Manchester KOA, however the grounds and buildings are in need of refurbishing. The WiFi is nonexistent and is also not good even when a fee is paid for it. For the price, wifi should be included in the camping fee. This is especially true when the cable tv channels are limited and not very clear.

This campground was recommended by the staff at anon KOA campground. I'm so glad I listened. This will be added to the list of my favorite places to camp. Clean. Good atmosphere. Beautiful trees. A short drive to the beach or the Point Arena Lighthouse.

Unfortunately, this stay was a quick overnight stop. We’ve stayed in this beautifully maintained KOA near Point Arena & walking distance to a gorgeous beach several times & love it- friendly staff, clean bathrooms & facilities, great location & nice camp sites!

Grandkids had fun meeting other kids. There isn’t much for them to do, tho, during the winter. No pool and no hot tub ever for kids?! It was clean, and a beautiful spot. Got to the beach twice. The playgrounds were minimal, but kept the kids relatively happy.

We stayed during the off-season, so it was quiet and we had plenty of space. It is a nice looking campground with trees and landscaping. My biggest disappointment is that they charge for Wi-Fi in an isolated area with limited internet access.

Although we only stayed for 2 nights, my wife and I enjoyed our time here at the Mendocino Coast KOA tremendously. Our group consisted of a total of 6 between 2 sites, a trailer and a cabin, and even though we were not near one another we felt comfortable with the sites. There was a movie night on Friday and karaoke Saturday night that made our stay even better. I can't praise this KOA enough!

Manchester KOA is our favorite place to camp. The campsites are large, the facilities are very clean, the staff is friendly and very welcoming. So many fun activities for the kids. The beach is about a mile away. Beautiful area to get away to. Cannot wait till our next trip.

We had a back-in RV spot. It was muddy all around it while the other sites around us had ground covering so they did not. Hubby not happy hooking up in the mud. The ocean was not an easy walk and you could not walk down to it. The campground was ok and had things to do. Paying for internet is one of the main reasons will not come back. Easier drive to Albion and better ocean access.

It was great, I use to get tired from the camping after couple days, but there I never felt the same, everyone wanted to stay longer. I will recommend this campground to all my friends.

Everything was great from the receptionist at the front desk to the people working in the park to the park atmosphere and staying within the guidelines for quiet time. Had a great time. Thank you.

Poor internet and cell phone reception. Roads to the campgrounds were scary to say the least. Staff was very plesant and friendly.

This was one of the best KOAs that we've stayed at. So many trees, the fenced dog area was huge, access to the coast was great! It was off season, so it was pretty empty. That was a nice bonus. It was very quiet.

State Park camping next door ~ closed for the winter. Relieved KOA was a backup for the night. KOA pricing is high. Grounds are impeccable, appreciate doggie park, dumping is 'free', and beautiful trees are left standing. Would like, since 3/4 empty, if we could have left trailer to day site-see. You have RULES not to be broken. No matter what you do, KOA seems like corporate camping.

We have an RV and love coming to the Manchester Beach KOA for our annual River City Beemer camp out. This KOA is spectacular. Everyone is always so kind. We come every year. We have already reserved our spot (41) for next year.

You didn't want to hear about my disappointment and overall feeling of regret. At this point, it is highly unlikely that we will be back any time soon. It is possible that our entire group might find a new campground for our annual event. Regrets, Philip Seavey

It was a wonderful visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If in this area again we definitely would come back. Our site did however have a root that I tripped over and fell. Nothing seriously, just put a chair over it to avoid it. I would just request a different one next time as there were plenty of better ones.

Nicely laid out. Good service. Clean hot showers. The only reason we were disappointed was although the site does have proximity to the beach (1mile), dogs are not allowed as it's a preserve. We picked this site for the location but was unable to use that primary feature.

We had a fantastic stay. Staff was above and beyond. You must check out the lighthouse, 3 mile drive. Well worth it! We will be going back! Thank you Angie and Yolanda!
