It was an awesome place to stay for our 2 nights, I didn't want to leave. Campground was clean and had beautiful scenery with great weather. Employees were friendly and cared about their campground. Lots of activities available. We loved movie night for kids. We also enjoyed the community bon fire. I really enjoyed the 1 mile hike to the beach with kids. This KOA rocked it... 5 starz!

Only one complaint….not very dog friendly. No issue with keeping dog on leash etc. but not allowing them in any “buildings, even the community kitchen, bathroom or office, yet not allowing them to be left alone at the camping site make it nearly impossible to be a single camper, or if your partner went on a hike and you needed to use the restroom you can’t, or get a bottle of water or a band

Friendly hosts helped us find the perfect spot, then we grabbed some ice cream and hung out by the fire and made new friends. Manchester Beach KOA is everything I expect from KOA - kind and supportive hosts and the coolest fellow kampers!

A nice Campground but it offers no connectivity for a foreign camper like me. In most of the area there is no mobile network. KOA offers there no free wifi. The offered wifi is horrible expensive, about 5$ for 3 hours, or 130$ for 30 days, that's insane. For that the price per night is too much.

It was our first time visiting the campground and will definitely return. It is an easy drive from home and there is plenty to see and do. We like that there is a good amount of space between the sites and a good mix of different camping options. The pool is inviting and the activities were plentiful and well planned. We especially liked the ice cream night.

the worst part about the trip is leaving! Amy, Sandy and Jessica (staff) are always so friendly. It's a place to go where everybody knows your name.

We have stayed at this campground for many years & have always enjoyed it. The cabins definitely need an upgrade on curtains, ones that are not see through would be amazing. The grounds are not as well kept as they could be, definitely could use a mowing, we had roof shingles & garbage in the bushes. They stack people on top of people but that is how most koa's are, overall a great place.

Great stay with our friends. Staff was great! Very accommodating to our needs. We loved the pool, hot tub, and movie night for the grand kids.

I booked my reservation online and I called KOA to confirm. I was given the reservation site but on the day we showed our site was removed and given to someone else. I told the manager, Yolanda and her response was, “ we’re very busy. We will not do anything if you don’t like it.” It was heartbreaking for us. We drove 4 and a half hours from our home to get there.

Very clean campground. As soon as someone breaks camp and leaves, the camp employees come to clean up that area. Very responsible dog owners in the camp. Love the dog park. Too bad we couldn't take the dogs on Manchester Beach as long as they are on a leash. Other than that, it was great!

This KOA is a little West Coast gem! It is extremely well run with all of the employers, particularly the ones in the office, being absolutely fantastic. The Shady sites are wonderful as are the grass sites. That hike to the beach is not to be missed. I absolutely loved how the jacuzzi is kept super hot! The store as well stocked. We will definitely be returning. Thank you thank you thank you!

We stayed in a cabin that was very comfy and had all the amenities, and more, than we had needed or hoped for. We felt very much at home in our little space. The Manchester KOA if family friendly, with lots of options for the kids. It is just far enough away from the fog line to be warm and sunny. Nearby attractions are Manchester Beach, as well as Pt. Arena Lighthouse and Wharf.

Needs some maintenance. Very dusty! Stone on roads and site parking areas would help. Most dryers and one urinal were out of service. Easy mile and a half walk to beach, but also could use a trim of grasses close to campground. Mountain road via GPS is dangerous and frightening. Be sure to read email from campground carefully to avoid that drive.

Hi there was 7 of us that included 3 kids. We all had a fabulous time. We enjoyed the ice cream social, the movie night and the fence painting. The pool is wonderful. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The staff is amazing. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. The cabins are super clean, the dog park is kept up and people clean up after their fur babies. The grounds of the whole area is kept

We were pretty frustrated by our accommodations. Our reservation was for a "Deluxe Cabin (Full Bath with Tub & Shower)", which lists "Full Kitchen" and the drawing shows a stove top. We've stayed in this layout at other KOAs. When we arrived, we ended up with a partial kitchen and a hot plate with no real counter space to use it. The campground overall was clean and the staff were friendly.

Great staff. Easy check in. Very friendly and helpful. Campgrounds and bathrooms very clean. Lots of amenities if you want to use them. Wish it had a view of the ocean otherwise a great place to stay.

All the KOA staff went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. Sandy was so accommodating and delightful selling ice cream to all the kids...and adults! We had over 50 family members staying at the park from all over the country and as far away as Turkey. Thank you for letting us use your facilities to show family slides and have a family gathering. This KOA became very busy since the pandemic and it is showing. Staff are not what they used to be... no longer happy and welcoming, instead of smiles one gets stern and matter of fact. Customer service is out of the window, because why should they care? There are plenty of people waiting to fill any vacant spots so the incentives are just not there anymore.

Everything about this camp site was kid friendly, which we loved! My kids and dog had a blast. We stayed at site T80 and froze. There is almost a 20 degree temperature change from the center of the grounds to where our tent was. Something that could be helpful to let campers know.

The public facilities were well maintained and kept clean. The staff was great. The cabin we stayed in had damage to the floor that made it sag and the couch was extremely dirty and stained. Also, the area on the edge of camp had no wind break so campfires were very unpleasant.

Everything went great except that the smoke detector battery started beeping in the middle of the night and woke everybody up. We had to get up at 2 AM and try to silence it. It ruined our sleep.

Bathrooms and showers were nice and always clean and stocked. We also enjoyed the dog park. Friendly staff. The campground felt safe. My son and his cousins had a blast biking and running around the campground. I would have enjoyed a hiking trail. Sites are too close together and lacked privacy for my camping style but this was my first time at a KOA and I hear they are all like that.

It's a nice campground with plenty of room. My only complaint, would be that the roads are quite dusty, and many folks are driving way too fast. We also had a group show up next door to us at around 9:30PM. Then proceeded to split wood right next to our camper a little after 10PM. They did quiet down after I had to get up and let them know that our kids and ourselves were trying to sleep.

Our group visits every year and we love it. The grounds are beautiful with plenty to do. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. It's a nice break from the inland heat. The firepits are incredible. I have to personally thank Dominque who was a great help with the hitch on my vehicle. Our tow home was safe due to his help. We have already booked for next year.

We had a fantastic stay. Staff was above and beyond. You must check out the lighthouse, 3 mile drive. Well worth it! We will be going back! Thank you Angie and Yolanda!

This KOA is very nice lots of amenities pool jacuzzi game room big Park disc golf nice Trail to a private beach untouched California this place is highly recommended whenever you're on the coast in Manchester thank you guys very much and we will be back

PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO GOOGLE - DO NOT TAKE THE MOUNTAIN VIEW ROAD ROUTE TO THIS AREA!!! Its dangerous and hard on your transmission and brakes!!! The staff have been trying to inform google and the state to no avail. If you find yourself on Mountain View Road with an RV of any kind - turn back. Such a beautiful place with tree'd sites and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are travelling the Mendocino Coast.
