Easy to access and the kids loved the playground. Bathrooms are clean. Felt like I was at summer camp from my youth. No trees in the middle section of camping so it could get pretty hot but the pool could solve that. Not a fan of the nearby massive power lines. Wish they had an envelope to deposit $ to get wood when office is closed. Not a fan of the long term spaces and their appearance.

This campground is okay if it is on your route but it is not convenient to Pittsburgh and it is not a pleasant place. Very barren gravel sites with many long term residents. Very little in the way of green space. The bathrooms and showers were fine and there is a convenient laundry. The staff is friendly but the office is up a steep hill from the campsites

The office is too far from sites. Large enough to require another bath house. Driveways could use more rock, or something. Pool was good but very shallow. Nobody seen on jumping pad or playground equipment which was nice looking.

The Madison KOA is a very nice lay over location for people traveling the I-76 route. The full hookups and WiFi work perfectly and the pool and dog park are very clean, the staff is very helpful and kind. Our only problem was some of the sites where very unlevel and could use a make over. Maybe concrete pads would help this problem. I would recommend this KOA for a stop.

Unfortunately, my campsite was below a hanging tree branch. I didn’t realize this until the second day of my stay. Staff is very friendly!

Very nice and clean campground. The staff was friendly. Do be prepared for steeper hills but it is a okay. Obviously can't do anything about that. I would definitely stop again.

The campground was very hilly. My site was very undesirable. The campground was not fully booked, plenty of sites available. I was assigned site 38, which is right next to several electrical components. They made noises and blocked my view of the pool and pond. I don't understand why I was assigned this site if there were several other sites available at the time. I won't recommend this KOA.

I booked a full hookup,pull through site online. After setting up,we found that our cable hook up at our site was broken. We were told someone would be coming to take a look at it but no one came. We’re disappointed that we paid for a full hookup site but didn’t get the amenities I booked and paid for. We have always had great customer service at most KOA’s and disappointed that we were igno

Nice RV Park, quiet and off the beaten path. Other than someone parked in RV slot, all else was fine. We parked in slot next over, and checked with site manager who said no problem.

arrived at 7pm, camp store closed, no problem, paperwork for site and registration was available and waiting, went to site that was assigned and found it occupied. tried to call after hours contact number, no one would answer and mailbox was full.tried this for over an hour and received no response. I took a different site, but expected someone to knock on my door all night. No sleep

Poor reception on tv that they said couldn't be repaired because it was a problem underground??? It was really dry and other campers were not kept at 5 mph & we received a mouthful of dust every time someone went by fast.

It’s a nice small journey. Nice pool. New playground and jump pad. Sites are tight. Good for a nice 1 night getaway or pass through.

Best local campsite for us! Location, amenities and special events are fantastic! We love the Pittsburgh-Madison KOA! Special shout-out to Beth! She is absolutely AWESOME! The entire KOA group is great! Looking forward to our next stay. :D

This is one of our favorite local KOAs! We love the playground area and pool; we especially love the pond to do a little fishing. The campground is laid out nicely and has a great little store that always seems to have what we need. We try to stay here at least once every camping season.

The campsite I had was very small and didn't allow room for many chairs. As for the park it was clean and plenty for the kids to do. We would return!

Our families had an amazing Holiday weekend stay here. With our spots being close to the pond, pool and park, we could watch our children play & fish from the comfort of our front porch. The store was well stocked and affordable, the staff was friendly and caring & there are restaurants and stores nearby within 20 min or less! We had food delivered from Friday's in no time!

It was a nice stay. It was pretty quiet stay. Had fun with my Grandson fishing at the lake . Caught a few bluegills and crappie bass. One thing that we didn’t like there was a lot of geese poop all over the place . Overall it was a nice.

We were passing through with a one night stay. The pull through site was good, easy in and out. Level site in a hilly campground. We would stay here again.

Three interactions with office/cashier left us more frustrated each time. Not acknowledged or ignored when arriving and then when trying to purchase items in store. Campground is not well kept up and the long term rental sites are very unkempt even trashy looking. Would not recommend.

We’ve stayed here several times. Delighted to say the spots have been leveled out, nicely. The staff have always been polite. When we return we will stay an extra night to see the 9/11 memorial located nearby.

I arrived at 6pm and found the office closed and no reference to my reservation or directions to my site. Since I already had a reservation I drove up to the sites, picked one and set up. The pull through sites are awful. I don’t understand why KOA would buy a campground that is graded so poorly. Once I leveled the motorhome the door was close to 30” above the ground.

Great RV camping experience. Was able to experience this Campground in early - mid-march when most campgrounds are closed. The campsites are well-maintained. Clean and large laundry area. Camp store stocked with the basics. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only negative was the pothole strewn driveway - needs some major upgrade.

Great find, some comments refer the site as being inclined but the inclines are not bad at all and very picturesque. Vey clean canpground!

We had a 2 nights stay with our 45' Motorcoach and tow. Quiet location. Easy off and onto I-70. Our site was pretty level as it is located on a slight slope. The grassy area on our site #7 was sufficient. It also had a slope down to our neighboring RV site. Packed gravel site, picnic table and fire ring. Road going into and out of the park itself are a bit rough. Waltz Road was fine. The only KOA sign was at the entrance to the campground. Staff was extremely friendly and their fire wood was excellent! Enjoyed our stay! Had dinner at Rodney's Restaurant in Irwin. Really Good Food and Service.
