First trip out in a new camper wanted to check out a koa near to us as a shakedown. Very pleased with the campground. Pleasant staff, great bathouse, quiet when should be. Nice place to spend a few days.

No signs at the exit or getting there from the highway. Looks like a great campground but all of the roads are dirt and very uneven.

A little farther off the highway than most of the KOA’s, so very quiet ,no highway noise. Still close enough to be convenient. Needs some updating to the sites, also a lot of trees need trimming and dead ones need to be taken down. some looked quite dangerous. Overhead wires are low. Would still stay again when passing through.

One night stand for a mid-trip stop back to NJ. All nice - site, setups, bathrooms, etc were very well kept.

Our visit was mid-Oct, mid-week. Despite the nice, helpful staff, and clean baths, this camp was so noisy that it made the visit difficult. The grounds and walkways are covered with rocks - not gravel - so driving, even walking was painful at best. The highway noise is substantial and an incredibly loud alarm went off at 10:30 pm. If this is often, campers should be warned when making reservation

Nice location, not far from the freeway, a lot of amenities - didn't get to use them all but knowing that they had a laundry facility is a huge plus for us! Our pull-through spot was perfect for our trailer & vehicle, we didn't have to disconnect - we were only staying one night. Our 2 year old son enjoyed the swings and sandbox. We will add this KOA to our list of ones to return to!

Easy freeway access. Clean well kept grounds, lots of play equipment for kids, pond for fishing, 2 dog parks. Bathrooms look recently updated and clean.

Clean, well laid out and run with great staff and manager! Giant bouncy pillow and playground saved our lives with little kids. Note: pool is NOT heated. It’s a nice pool - just not heated. Beautiful grounds surrounded by big trees. Far enough away from the highway so road noise is not a problem. New merge lanes on highway make it easier to get on.

We stayed just overnight so didn’t use any amenities. The woman who registered us in was very pleasant.

I booked the Madison KOA at the last minute as a spontaneous camping trip, Friday Oct. 8th. Brought my children there Oct 9, they loved the trick or treating, and painting the pumpkins. I think I might make this a planned trip every year.

Actually, I'd give the campground 4.5 stars, if I could. Nice small campground, clean and well-kept. Quiet. The only drawback was the size of the sites. We felt the sites were very narrow . In defense of the campground: it was located on a hill. Difficulty in construction of the campground may have been the deciding factor during construction. We would stay there again, no problem.

We've stayed in several KOA as we travel across the country in our RV. This one had rough roads on a hill. The sites were fairly level however. Bathrooms were not as nice as others and a long way from our site. But overall, we always depend on KOA campgrounds to be a good option.

Overall a good stay. Suggest that sites be re-leveled as many have sharp slants which require rv's to extend jacks too far. Cable also very fuzzy. Garbage pick up at sites would be helpful too.

The pull through site was shaded and very spacious, loved the patio. Shower facility was very clean. just find KOA pricing is higher than most, even with the membership discount.

Adequate for an overnight. Sites very close together and no privacy. Sites also could use some maintenance including newer picnic tables and some gravel.

Great RV camping experience. Was able to experience this Campground in early - mid-march when most campgrounds are closed. The campsites are well-maintained. Clean and large laundry area. Camp store stocked with the basics. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only negative was the pothole strewn driveway - needs some major upgrade.

Great find, some comments refer the site as being inclined but the inclines are not bad at all and very picturesque. Vey clean canpground!

We had a 2 nights stay with our 45' Motorcoach and tow. Quiet location. Easy off and onto I-70. Our site was pretty level as it is located on a slight slope. The grassy area on our site #7 was sufficient. It also had a slope down to our neighboring RV site. Packed gravel site, picnic table and fire ring. Road going into and out of the park itself are a bit rough. Waltz Road was fine. The only KOA sign was at the entrance to the campground. Staff was extremely friendly and their fire wood was excellent! Enjoyed our stay! Had dinner at Rodney's Restaurant in Irwin. Really Good Food and Service.
