Great location. Very clean and well maintained. The sites were level and any debris removed. Our patio site (59) was awesome with tables, chairs and a grill. Eve and John did a fantastic job. The pool was a bit small, but very clean. (Needed steps to enter)! The owner/manager, Doug, was super. All staff were friendly and polite. Very woodsy, peaceful setting. Minimal noise. Highly recommend!

Great location. The barking dogs were an issue, especially the 2 at site 60 that barked at people passing and charged to the end of their chains! I reported them. NOTHING WAS DONE AND NOTHING CHANGED. I probably will NOT return as I have found a number of other campgrounds. The people/help were very nice and the campgrounds were clean.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient to Mackinaw City. Sites were pretty tight but shady. Dog park was unkept.

Booked one bigger site in August 2022 when we showed up. They did not give us the site they gave us a smaller site. No one called me within the nine months to let me know that they doubled booked site went until I got there. Said they could not do anything about it and did not care basically. Asked to talk to the owner of the of this KOA never showed up. Was not very happy through the whole week

Nice campground. Well maintained. Especially liked the convience of having ferry service pick up at the campground.even took the bikes. Would stay there again.

We camped there for 6 nights. The grounds were kept up along with the sites that were clean. Very helpful staff were there to assist you in any questions you had or concerns. The pool was heated, bath houses and showers were clean. Take a left out of the park and you were only less than 3 miles from the beach which was nice and sandy. All in all I would stay there again.

Our site was nice and clean. Had a pull-thru with patio. Ladies in office were helpful in answering questions for our visit to the island. Very helpful to have a shuttle pick you up.

Loved our stay except for a unruly parent that used vulgar language and made inappropriate gestures to our 11 year old. However, the staff did a wonderful job trying to address this. Wished quiet hours were at 10pm instead of 11.

Very clean & modern facilities Friendly & hardworking staff- (like that they took us to our site) Fire pits & site clean Store had many products Only dislike was the 11pm quiet time. Would like to see 10 pm Concrete slabs were nicely done Happy the shuttle to the island came to the campground Overall, we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We loved Mackinaw City KOA! The bike trail to town and the shuttle to the ferry were so convenient. Easy on and off the interstate. Big rig friendly. Every staff member we spoke to was friendly and so helpful. Sites are level and a great size. We have stayed at 8 KOAs during our cross country trip and this was hands down the best. Already planning to come back!

The staff and the services were all great. The only thing I would improve is the sites surface. It was dirt and sand. Next time I would be prepared with a small mat for outside. Service was outstanding here! We left something at the site and the offered to mail it to our home. Made us feel very welcome!

Average campground. Nothing fancy, not worth premium price. Only real complaints were levelness of site and location of hookups, especially sewer, was not convenient. I wound up not hooking up sewer and used dump station upon exiting due to lengthy run at site. Overall clean and well maintained, staff was friendly. Very convenient to bridge if heading north.

Had one of the full service pull through patio sites. Really nice site. Staff is great and very helpful. Asked if I could clean the bugs off the nose after getting there and they said OK, just the nose. Nice to get them off. WIFI is very good. No dropping. Would stay again.

We’ve stayed at this campground several times over the years. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect. The only issue we had this stay was we couldn’t run our electric hot water heater and a/c, it kept tripping the breaker. We addressed it with the staff but there was nothing they could do during our stay. The electrical unit/breaker will need to be replaced.

We had a great time at the campground. The staff was great and the site was clean. We will be looking at renting at site at one of the other KOA campgrounds in the future.

Prompt service on arrival. Taken directly to our site. Cable only received 22 very snowy channels. No cell phone reception which was a surprise. Sites close together. Site not at all level. Could be improved.

Since I have been married and had children, I wanted to take my family camping, and we had a great time. I just hope they will remember going, I am sure they will ^^

I went here during the summer and it was great, the workers are very friendly and always trying to help. The bike path is very fun to ride on. The only problem I have is they don't want you to put anything up and I put up my portable hammock, and they said to take it down .

I have been to Mackinac City and Island a couple of times, and each time it was excellent experience! The moment you board the ferry to the island the journey to the past starts. It's just so peaceful and relaxing at the island without the noise and pollution of the motor vehicles. The fudge and speciality food on the island is a must have while there.
