Site was large and level. Staff was very welcoming. Loved that firewood was delivered to site and trash picked up each morning. Great place as a home base to explore northern lower peninsula and eastern UP.

Very nice park , clean , no issues WiFi working, cable working, Didn’t give it 5 stars or top billing because we Asked months in advance for a dish friendly spot Saw several sites dish friendly, for new check in customers??? Why ?? Maybe they will read the reservation remarks and act upon them?? Either way up or down let your customers know! We stayed 5 nights Excellent location

Great place to stay owners and all the staff are the best. We were one week in site #48 they last week in #57 Nolan and his mother along with their staff were very accommodating great people. Plan on being back for a couple more weeks soon!!

We absolutely love this campground, The location is great and the campground is clean and quiet. Well maintained. Lots of shady sites and sites with patios and chairs and grills included on some of them. The store and employees are helpful and friendly. They offer Ferry tickets and free shuttles to the Ferry docks. Will definitely be back to stay.

Other than the dusty limestone that was just put down our stay was great. Lots of mature trees for shade no sitting in the hot sun. Close to the casino and the ferries.

Stayed at site 44 for a week. It was very nice. Location of KOA was perfect and very central to everything we wanted to do. Pool was nice and heated

Clean campground and facilities. Clean restrooms, showers and plenty of hot water. Friendly staff. Quiet hours were enforced (nice). Too many large barking dogs, however. We like texting to the front office. Texts were answered quickly. It’s not Timber Shores but it’s a very nice, quality KOA.

great place for the area. well located, close to downtown and bike trail. Staff was very helpful. It would be 5 star rating if they would pave the roads and put in concrete pads for RV sites.

Two issues. 1st was dust. If you are going to us crushed rock, you need to cover the park roads with stone. 2nd, the mosquitos were biblical. Might make sense to have park fogged? Everything else was just fine.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. This campground is close to Mackinaw City. They have a nice fenced in area to let our dogs run.

We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our seasonal site to open. enjoyed watching the upgrades being feverishly worked on to get done in time for memorial day. enjoyed surprising our good friends on Care Camp weekend by being camped next to them .always liked this KOA as they do a wonderful job. very friendly. The campground very clean & organized. Would be camp hosts for sure.

Super friendly staff, clean accommodations, helpful amenities to make a nice trip! We also really appreciated having a shuttle to make it convenient to get to the ferry and to Mackinac Island.

Just after I unhooked my camper and parked my truck (on my site) that had barley enough room for my small camper and truck. I was told to move my truck over farther away from the site next to mine. Even tho I was a couple feet away from the neighboring site. I moved my truck a few inches because that’s all I could do. The neighbors showed up a day and a half later.

Sites have a nice mix of sun and shade. Pool was nice. The camp store carries a nice variety of camping supplies and food, with bike and e bike rentals. Campground is on the bike trail with a 10 to 15 minute bike ride to the bridge or downtown Mackinaw. We rode our bikes to the ferry to the island and worked out amazing.

This was the first time we stayed at a KOA, we just joined the club. Very friendly staff, very informative. It was so nice for the shuttle to the ferry, we called and they were right there on time. the camp was very clean, cute store. We really enjoy our visit and will be back . The staff asked us how our trip to the island went,They really seem to care about their guest. Great job.

Beautiful. New pull thru sites many with cement patios. Close to a rails to trails bike path. Within a mile of ferries to the island. New updated electric. Will go back

We stayed at the Mackinaw City KOA due to it's proximity to the Headlands International Dark Sky Park. Staff was welcoming, restrooms were clean, store was cute and well staged, and the new playground was AWESOME! Our kid had a great time playing on the new structure. Haven't tried the pool yet but it looked clean and people appeared to have fun swimming.

Since I have been married and had children, I wanted to take my family camping, and we had a great time. I just hope they will remember going, I am sure they will ^^

I went here during the summer and it was great, the workers are very friendly and always trying to help. The bike path is very fun to ride on. The only problem I have is they don't want you to put anything up and I put up my portable hammock, and they said to take it down .

I have been to Mackinac City and Island a couple of times, and each time it was excellent experience! The moment you board the ferry to the island the journey to the past starts. It's just so peaceful and relaxing at the island without the noise and pollution of the motor vehicles. The fudge and speciality food on the island is a must have while there.
