Love this campground. Well maintained, and Phil keeps the grounds very nice and is constantly improving this campground. Lots of trees for natural beauty, and it’s close to the famous Woodruff Pie Shop!

Ralph what is a caretaker for the few days that we stayed there and he was wonderful! He took us around, showed us around all the different ins and outs took us to the dog park and was just very welcoming. The site itself was clean and had all of the amenities at our fingertips. We had five Golden retrievers with us and he treated them beautifully. Thank you Ralph. We will return when we go

Close to Parkway. Friendly staff. Very clean. Sites are a bit close together. Site layout is a bit confusing - hard to tell the road from the sites.

It was wonderful, The signage leading to and into the campground were great. Check in was a great experience. Was greeted, our propane tank topped off. and then led by a golf cart to our site. The campground was well kept and the restrooms were very clean. We had a great time and will be back again.

This is the best campgrounds we have stayed at to date. It is very peaceful, quiet and just a short drive to many things to do. Don’t forget to eat lunch at Woodruff’s Pie’s and The Pink Cadillac over by the Safari Park.

Very nice campground. Small, but the staff were friendly and helpful. With the leaves on ground and at dark, it was hard to determine which was a road in campground and which was a campsite. They tried to blow the leaves off road, so o e could see the road. Very quiet campsite too. We enjoyed our stay.

We stay here at last twice of year, people are always friendly and helpful. Site had plenty of room and was easy in and out.

This is our second year staying here for our fall trip. We love that it is a smaller campground and so much to do in the area. My grandkids love the mining area at the campground. One of the friendliest staffs around!

Lots of fun and great activities for the kids! I would just suggest when people are making reservations for these weekends in October that someone mentions you trick or treat. Some did not have anything to give because they didn't know & felt bad. Also, please bring back the "decorate your campsite" contest for a free night. We had a ball doing that and won too which made sure we came back.

We stayed at this KOA for Liberty University's Family Weekend and it was perfect! It was a smooth 30 minute ride to campus. The campground was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and most importantly the bathrooms were spotless! We will return to this campground again especially since our student is only a freshman at LU!

Nice place! Good sites with plenty of grave and space. Everyone was friendly. Only thing that would have been an improvement is better wifi. But, for the mountainous location, wifi may be the best available.

We had a wonderful stay here. The owners are very visible and available and obviously care for the campground. It's clean and beautiful, very wooded. A family member rented a cabin at the same time and it was very nice!! Highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights while visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway. The colors were awesome. Water, electricity and sewer all worked fine. The cable TV was very grainy. The wifi speed was < 1mb/sec. Zero cell service (not KOA's issue). We used the laundry facility, and washing was fine, but the dryer didn't get very warm and took extra cycles ($) to dry. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Awesome stay for 5 nights in October 2022. Beautiful camp grounds, level and huge space for our 40’ Class A towing. Super friendly, fun and helpful staff. Will definitely return!

We love this campground. It’s beautiful, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi. It needs to be upgraded/stronger. It worked great when we were there this past spring but the last two times it was spotty and unreliable. We stayed in site b13 so a tower is in our site. We consistently had “full bars” but the Wi-Fi wouldn’t work. Praying for an upg

Oct.22 our first trip and this campground is a perfect fit for us, empty nester with dogs. It was friendly , clean, and peaceful. Close to scenic drives and fun restaurants in Lynchburg. We will make it an annual fall trip.

Great location off the Blue Ridge Parkway. A good amount of amenities and a nice little store. Only complaint would be how unlevel the site was. This is a common problem with most campgrounds we've stayed. I can't for the life of me figure out why campgrounds dont put more effort into providing level sites.

We love this KOA! My wife and I just started camping last year and have decided that we will start out our season here and then come back to close our season out. Very quiet and clean campground in a beautiful setting. All of the staff are so friendly and clearly love what they’re doing.

HAVE STAYED HERE BEFORE AND WILL RETURN IN THE FUTURE. STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THIS KOA IS VERY CLEAN. THEY WORK HARD TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE ENJOYS THEIR STAY.

Stayed for 3 nights and our site was perfect! This campground is small and nicely laid out. My family and our pups enjoyed taking walks around the campground and on the wooded trail! We will definitely be back again!!

Site was lovely, clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Pond was great for the kids to fish as well as the playground and surrounding areas. We all enjoyed the snow cones and kids loved riding the train around the campground!

This was our first time staying at a KOA, and I hope they are all this great! We booked a tent site, which was situated right next to the fishing pond. The site had water, electricity, and a tent pad to setup. The staff was extremely nice both at check-in and during our stay, bringing us firewood and making sure everything was good. My only notes are that the bathroom facilities are up a hill from the tent sites and a little trek... plus the tents are close to the road so the traffic noise can be a bit much. Overall, a great location, great employees, and great facility. If we make it back to this area, I would definitely stay here again.
