The deluxe patio site was very nice. Loved the separate camp grill and fire pit. Site was very level as well. Showers were clean. Hosts were very friendly.

It was our 20th wedding anniversary and my wife's first camper outing experience. It was quiet, clean and uneventful. We had a great experience and would love to do it again, SOON.

Very nice campground! It was very clean and quiet. The pool was refreshing and my kids loved the playground. The people working are super friendly and so helpful. Great KOA!

This was the best KOA we have ever stayed at. The camp hosts (Debbie and her husband) and the owners (Stephanie and her husband) were truly wonderful. They helped to arrange perfect sites for our large group. It was so clean, well kept, and very quiet at night. I am extremely impressed. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant. We will definitely be going back!

We had a terrific stay. The owners and staff were friendly and talkative. They will bend over backwards for a request. We have been coming here for over 10 years. We always stay at least once a year here. The campground is clean, quite, and well kept. If you are in the Lynchburg area, consider this KOA; I think you'll like it.

I think it’s a little crowded , loved fishing the pond but it could be expanded and definitely cleaner , having said that the host couple Dan and Deb I think , were truly a delight and he stayed busy from sun up to sun down, a real passion for his job, and truly cares about guest experience, and the Camp ground … we will be back thanks , Scott and Ann Butcher

Standard campsite consisted of gravel pad area with picnic table and fire ring. Recommend regrading gravel to level site side to side. Good spacing between sites. Didn’t feel like we were crowded. Campground was clean and neat. Great place for families to enjoy. Restrooms were clean and air conditioned. Nice staff.

Beautiful camp ground. Everything was very neat and clean. A storm came though while we were there and as soon as the rain stopped they were out checking on campers and clean all the leaves and branches.

Nice small & quiet KOA. Would like to see a bit more sun at the pool & an update with slides for more kid friendly. We were there for a quick Father’s Day & when we got there we had to pay extra for a tent site because we had too many people per site. We had 10 with 5 only being there for 5 hours on Saturday and 4 were kids under 5 years old. Didnt have a choice since we didn’t want to ruin pl

I enjoyed my stay very much. Although interupted by some business in Lynchburg and getting lost. Our trip back was very interesting. The campground is very quiet (hard to find) and clean, very well maintained.

We really enjoyed the campground. We do a Likes/Dislikes list for every campground we go to, and our likes list was long, and our dislikes were few. As I recall, the dislikes were the fishing pond. While we liked that there was one, we would have been blown away by a more stocked fishing pond, some adult-only pool time (smaller pool, so once a couple of kids are there, adults are left out).

Pristine and very friendly environment. Campground staff very courteous. Facilities are well maintained. The best KOA campground so far ! Free and Strong WiFi signal was a nice surprise!

The property was absolutely beautiful, all amenities offered were nice. Bathrooms very clean and seemed to be cleaned daily. RV spaces were nice and spread out so as to not be super close to your neighbor.

I think it would be helpful to have a list of expectations ( e.g. take trash to dumpster, strip bed, etc.) in each cabin. This was our first time camping and we weren’t sure what was expected.

Beautiful setting, wonderful staff! We were immediately comfortable. Amenities are numerous and well kept. Highly recommend this camp and will stay there again when we are in the area.

This was our first stay at a KOA and we are very glad to have found it since it was very pet friendly and clean. Our dogs enjoyed it almost just as much as we did. The jump pad was so fun and the dogs enjoyed stretching their legs in the dog park.

Nice campground, very small Rv sites Neighbors fire ring 3 foot from our camper Way to close for my comfort Dog trail no dog park enclosure Tons of open space, should have a koa k9 park No food service, small store. Park is clean

Wonderful hosts!. Great base camp to explore the area. Arriving back at campground after a hike is relaxing and the pool is refreshing. The dog park was large and grassy to run off leash. Hosts were very knowledgeable about area and directed us to a RV parts store. Hosts kept campground and restrooms very clean and neat. Perfect place fall asleep to crickets and wake to birds chirping.

Absolutely loved the staff, especially camp hosts. Always had time to help, check on us and so pleasant. They made us feel special! When you travel 2 thousand miles & family wants to visit, it’s hard to tell them only 6 allowed. We had 11 family members, so that was tuff.

Small, quiet campground. Clean facilities and friendly staff. If you want to host an MTV party video this is not the place to stay. If you want to enjoy the darkness and quiet at night, make a reservation and enjoy. Sites are good size. A couple turns are tight but manageable. Located between Lynchburg and Lexington, plenty of outdoor activities.

Owner/operators professional, personable, and on-site. Spacious, well layed out, manicured with care. Pool is immaculate. Quiet but friendly. Close to Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway, many historical sites and natural scenic locations. Of course, rural mountainous area has spotty wifi but the cable was good. Power/water pedestals up to date. Staye/d 6 nights and enjoyed every minute!

Just an overnight stay on a trip but this looks like a great KOA, if you after kind of a laid back experience. Well kept. Good people running the operation. Looked to have plenty of playground equipment to give the kids something to do. Well shaded campsites. Apparently, a great place to stay if you are visiting some of the area's Civil War battlegrounds.

The owners were very nice. The resr'vtns I'd made online didn't go thru but they got us cabins on a soldout weekend. But, both of the cabins weren't very clean (I clean for a living) & poison must've been sprayed bc we saw insects dying in both cabins. We should've been informed, I never would've walked barefoot in there had I known. The cabins surfaces weren't disinfected or cleaned properly.

WiFi keep disconnecting. Couldn’t do any work or watch videos. Staff and bathrooms were awesome. Would of stayed a lot longer if the WiFi was perfect. Don’t know why everyone knows it’s a problem and nobody fixes it

The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. The entire facility was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this campground to everyone and plan on staying here again in the future. My family of five enjoyed everything the campground had to offer and the surrounding area.

This was our first time staying at a KOA, and I hope they are all this great! We booked a tent site, which was situated right next to the fishing pond. The site had water, electricity, and a tent pad to setup. The staff was extremely nice both at check-in and during our stay, bringing us firewood and making sure everything was good. My only notes are that the bathroom facilities are up a hill from the tent sites and a little trek... plus the tents are close to the road so the traffic noise can be a bit much. Overall, a great location, great employees, and great facility. If we make it back to this area, I would definitely stay here again.
