We like to welcome to our community Cooter's Museum & Store Luray Virginia. They have moved from Sperryville to Luray and by spring the Museum, restaurant and recording studio will be well on it's way.Similar to their locations in Nashville and Gatlinburg and Daisy Country in Nashville. When you camp at our KOA you have a wide choice of daily activities to keep you busy, unless you just want to relax (and you can do that, too). Since we are situated in a valley between two gorgeous mountain ranges, our campers can spend days exploring the trails and roads of those mountains by car or bicycle. Others spend time on the Shenandoah River, canoeing, fishing and hiking. Of course, one must-see here are the Luray Caverns, an underground wonderland of stalagmites, stalactites and subterranean waterways. That's truly a bucket-list item. Our in-park activities include weekend billiards tournaments. Just enough activities to make you welcome the cool quiet nights under the starry skies of the Shenandoah Valley.

Castle Vineyard just had their grand opening in August 2017. They are a tasting room and vineyard located just up the road from our campground. They currently grown Cabernet Franc with plans to expand and plant additional vines. They are partnered with Barren Ridge Vineyards in Fisherville, Virginia. They offer both indoor and outdoor seation accommodations. Handicap accessible. Bottled water, Tea, cheese and meat trays for sale. Bring your own picnic and enjoy cornhole boards. nThis winery and vieyards are located on the foothills of the Blue Ridge, surrounded by Reality Farm's. Current plantings include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, chardonnay, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Petit Manseng Vines. Their objective is to produce classic French style wines focusing on Bordequx varietals emphasizing quality. All wines are produced from the estate grown grapes. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
