Easy to get to, very nice people, nice laundry. Level, large sites. Only used as an overnight and rained solud so didn’t take advantage of other amenities.

Clean and well laid out campground. Even though we arrived before the office closed, they had our information waiting outside on the door. We did not use the bathhouse, but did use the laundry. If the cleanliness of the laundry was any indication of the bathhouse, it must be spotless. 2 changes I would like to see, 1.Restock the doggie poop bags at the dog park 2.Post the times of the laundry.

Was disappointed that we were camping with family and we both ask to be together and we were on complete opposite side from each other. We booked well in advance and we had tjeee different people come and go beside us. And the store was never open. Sign said open 9-5 and it was never open. Your place is nice but was not satisfied with this stay. We camp a lot and have stayed at a lot of KOA camps.

Easy in and out. We got there after 5 pm but envelope on the door told us all we needed to know. It was clean, bathrooms were great. Definitely stay there again.

The KOA only had one staff member that I saw. No person on site a lot of the day I was waiting for someone to open the office. The KOA sign said hours were 9 to 5. The sign on the door said they would be there at 10:30. On Wednesday another camper came to the office. He said he had been there since Sunday and hadn’t seen any staff. The K-9 park has lots of dog poop in it, no poop bags availab

Nice out of town location with a pretty lake. We had a spot at the edge of border and were never able to get internet there. It is Spring so shade was not important but we were surprised that there are no trees in the camping areas which means no shade in our hot summers. Pool and playground very nice and our grand daughters really enjoyed playground. Very clean and well kept grass. Pretty area.

We've stayed here several times on our trips to southern Texas. The sites are perfect and have always been treated very nice.

We arrived about 4:30 pm on Sunday, Office was closed, found our envelope on the door, assigned to site #47. Found the site already occupied so called and waited but no response We took site #45 instead. Kamp K9 was very small. Grounds are too dark to walk safely.

Great stay, park is kept up nicely. Great location, not far from everything Lufkin offers. Quiet at night. We had a truck issue and Laurie was the absolute best to help accommodate us to extend our original stay.

Arrived at night. Road to get to campsites on left side very poorly marked. We had to maneuver our way on inside roads to get back on track. Also corner to turn into campsite (road we missed) very tight for longer rigs

it was just an overnight stop but staff explained things very well for late arrival and the sites were wonderful-level and clean as were the washrooms! Thank you!

Pads were level and well spaced. Sewer very inconveniently located. WIFI sporadic and weak to the point of being unusable. No cable TV as listed on 2 other web sites. No shade, which would be understandable due to the location but no effort is being made to plant trees for shade in the future. Premium price paid but premium experience not delivered. KOA user since the 1960"s.

We were there for an overnight stay on our road trip. Arrived late and there was an envelope with directions to our site. Facilities were great.

This the 2nd time we have stayed at the KOA. Our stays werr 1 night as stop on our way West. Did not use any of the facilities, but the park looks clean and well-maintained. Making reservations was easy open sites, no trees . There is some road noise. .

It was over Christmas laying over to our final destination. For a holiday they still gave better service than I expected. Grounds were well kept and it appears to be growing and improving. Easy access and fair enough room for bigger rigs. Watched a 40ft 5th wheel pull in relatively easy. Well done.

I always use Lufkin away when I’m making a trip to Galveston. I need to spend one night on the road this RV Park has improved so much over the last few years. It’s really enjoyable to stay at I recommend it. The restrooms are clean and neat. The park is kept up quite well.

Check in was a breeze! Everything we needed was waiting for us at the front door. The facilities were new and clean. This was our second stay at the Lufkin KOA and I’m sure we will be back!

The camp io very pretty but it's too close to the highway and a county road that gets much traffic during the week which causes quite a bit of traffic noise. Not sure why but they always kept the enclosure for the trash dumpster open and there dog park is probably as big as a swimming pool. Quaint little campground. Close to highway but I tuned out the road noise. Sites level, ok spacing. Looks like they have semi permanent/seasonal campers. Only downside for us, the next door neighbor had 3 dogs and didn't clean up after them. Had to dodge doggie landmines hooking up and disconnecting utilities. Being a former KOA work camper, I had to bite my tongue and not cause an issue. It was just a one night stay, did not use any of the amenities offered.

2nd time at this campground. Easy reserving, sites are nice not far off main road & not far from a business area. Clean & well maintained.

Clean and large park with concrete pads and asphalt driveways. Traffic flow to the rear pads is reverse from what it should be to park a rig; however, the utilities are opposite to the traffic route. Our pad was at the bottom of the hill and we got everyone's mud when it rained that night. WIFI was doable but not great. Lots of full timers. Park has lots of provisions for long term. Close to downtown Lufkin. Great view of the night sky - lots of stars due to limited light. We camped at Lufkin KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.
