The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms were convenient and clean. The overall location was a problem for our family. There are massive amounts of noise and light pollution from the highway. I think planting plenty of trees would really improve the campground and help filter light and noise.

Only thing I would reccomend is more lighting, compared to other koas. We have stayed at they normally are pretty well lit up and this one was not.

Love the level concrete pads. But the restrooms need help…they’re just worn out and need a complete renovation, including lighting…dark showers. And the drains in the shower and sink were very slow. The exhaust fan doesn’t work in one of them and the toilet is made for small people. And no soap in the dispensers by the sinks. Otherwise a good place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay the pull through was big enough for my set up. But I had to back out in the park road to use the septic hook up. It’s twenty ft behind/before water and power pedestal.

Wonderful campground & facilities. Clubhouse wasn't open during our stay but I'm guessing it is nice as well. Easy in & out.

Nice park. Crap TV. Sewer hookup was not nconvenient. And customer service? No trash pickup. There was even a blacked out line showing where they would pick up trash.

It's a clean spacious park. The sites were easy to get in and out. I had a nice concrete pad. Besides that it wasn't anything special and there weren't any big shade trees near our campsite.

Would think a larger dog park would be nice. The current one is good for puppies. The 30 amp breaker at my sight overheated and threw. Would not reset. Had to get the 30-50 amp adaptor out to continue. They need to replace the breaker.

Very nice facilities. Very level well spaced sites. Most of the people there appeared to be long term and probably working in the area. That being said their units were well kept and not a lot of junk around them. That was nice to see. The only thing that surprised me was that for the 3 days we were there the only person I saw that appeared to work there was the woman in the office.

Quaint little campground. Close to highway but I tuned out the road noise. Sites level, ok spacing. Looks like they have semi permanent/seasonal campers. Only downside for us, the next door neighbor had 3 dogs and didn't clean up after them. Had to dodge doggie landmines hooking up and disconnecting utilities. Being a former KOA work camper, I had to bite my tongue and not cause an issue. It was just a one night stay, did not use any of the amenities offered.

2nd time at this campground. Easy reserving, sites are nice not far off main road & not far from a business area. Clean & well maintained.

Clean and large park with concrete pads and asphalt driveways. Traffic flow to the rear pads is reverse from what it should be to park a rig; however, the utilities are opposite to the traffic route. Our pad was at the bottom of the hill and we got everyone's mud when it rained that night. WIFI was doable but not great. Lots of full timers. Park has lots of provisions for long term. Close to downtown Lufkin. Great view of the night sky - lots of stars due to limited light. We camped at Lufkin KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.
