The park is great and everything was clean . Our problem was the flies. They had 4 garbage cans with no lids and I am sure that was the main source of the flies

enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and walking around KOA. Did find that the tv is in awkward place to watch from bed. would be better to be on opposite wall than on side wall.

Ladies restroom needed attention! Only one of the toilets was working, the rest of them was stopped up with toilet paper and other stuff still in them!!

We have stayed at Lubbock Journey KOA several times. Everything is really great, especially the very LEVEL sites. We seldom have to use our leveling system! The only [minor] con would be the short spaces leaving only a teensy bit of road clearance, but we have no idea how it could be improved. Great KOA!! Don't hesitate to reserve a space at Journey KOA!

The stay was good except the cleanliness of the mens bathroom. The sinks and showers were covered in saw dust, and one toliet covered in poop and flies the first night. Toliet was clean the next day but saw dust was still lingering.

The KOA is clean, easy accessible, the front attendees are polite. We truly enjoyed our stay and it's convenience to Lubbock's city.

We stopped here on our trip back, and we're pleasantly surprised. Very clean and cozy, was perfect for our needs. Can be noisy because of highway and train track close, but it didn't stop us from sleeping sound in our roof top tent.

We overnighted enroute home to another city. Check in was quick and simple and I was met by gracious hosts! The park was very clean and accommodating. Trees need more fertilizer and watering �! The park was Full due to Texas Tech vs Texas football game. I will stay there again if in the area. Great park, reminds me of the one in Kerrville, TX. Keep up the good work and the KOA brand!

Best KOA ever! Amazing owners, park is very clean and great doggie park! Only place to stay in Lubbock in our opinion even if you don't have a trailer they have cabins!

This KOA needs a lot of maintenance. Do you even have a maintenance guy? Its an accident waiting to happen. I seen so many dangerous things that need to be fixed. 1. Spa handle to get in, very loose 2. Really Rough cement in back door walkway into office. I have stayed in a lot of KOA’s this trip and so many are run down. What a shame! They just need to be maintained but they don’t do it.

Stayed for two nights on our trip from central Texas to Colorado. Nice park, good pull-thru site, good pet-run area, cable TV. Only criticism is lack of sufficient shade. We will stay there again on our return trip to central Texas.

One of the worst KOA's we've been to in the last 12 years of KOA travels. Fly infestation, couldn't enjoy meals outside. Heavy dust on campground roads.

By far the best KOA we’ve ever stayed at! Clean and well kept grounds. But, the best part was how friendly the staff was. Definitely Texas friendly with lots of smiles and laughter! Also, loved the Texas Bar-B-Q dinners they offered the evening we arrived! Love this place!

The signage was terrible to find. One little sign at their mailbox which caused us problems going in from the north. Needs fresh gravel.. The campground itself was nothing special.

This was a very noisy campground (I camped in my SUV so it might be different for those inside an RV). The campground is about a block off a major highway, and there are trains that go by several times a night. After a rain, the roads and paths did not drain well and there were puddles and mud throughout. The women's restroom and shower were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The grounds were clean and the staff was nice. We only stayed one night on our way to New Mexico. If you are looking for convenience it will work but our site was next to the door park, the hwy and train tracks so it was extremely loud. Even with our extremely loud air conditioner you could hear everything.

Overall our stay was good. However, when we got there, the cabin didn’t feel as clean as it should have. I went in the bathroom & the bathroom mirror had water spots all over it as did the counter top of the bathroom sink as well as shaved whiskers. That made me wonder if the toilet and shower had been wiped down. I went to the office & the lady at the desk came over and wiped things down.

You have a great campground and staff. Cindy and John helped us this trip. Can't beat the location. The only negative is beyond your control: the horrible traffic noise.

I could not have asked for a nicer and more pleasant stay staff was wonderful the grounds are properly maintained they have a cute little dog park I didn't have a dog but it was still nice to see one wonderful playground nice swimming pool jacuzzi could not have asked for anything more.

Our spot was about 100 feet from the highway and there was not a fence around the park. Loud traffic noise all night. Was not a restful experience.

We felt so welcomed and at home here! The staff and other guests were so friendly. This campground is older, but very clean, it has a homey feel, cats and chickens roaming around. I loved the rooster! There is free coffee in the office, often goodies as well. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! The bathroom and showers are clean. The laundry room takes your credit card! No scrounging for quarters! The campground was pretty quiet, even with some train and road noise. Would love to come back !

We rented the tent spot so we can sleep in our SUV and the spot was perfect. Hot tub and pool area comfortable and inviting. Owner and her help were so fun to talk to over coffee. Whole park safe, quiet, beautiful and easy in and out. Great job!

Great little no frills campground! Good value. We couldn't figure out online booking, so we just gave them a call. The employee was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again. We stayed in one of the two cabins. They are small and staff informed us of this in advance. We were provided a key at the office/small store which operated a deadbolt. Two windows inside, one of which was able to be opened. The floors were dirty unfortunately, so we did some cleaning ourselves. The bed was awful. We didn't sleep well because the "mattress", which would probably pass for a mattress pad, was about 4" thick and plastic with nothing under it. If we stay again, we'll just bring something else rather than bedding only. There was a TV in the cabin which was nice and the a/c, oil heater kept us comfortable. The campground is on the small side but well kept. Even with a full camp, they did a good job of keeping it clean. All gravel. I think there were two dumpsters. Staying in a cabin really helped to keep the traffic noise down. If youre bringing pets, please be aware the "dog park" is very small.. probably 150 square feet. We took advantage of local parks. There were 3 showers and four bathroom stalls in the ladies room. Water was hot. We checked out the pool and it was nice. Everything worked and the space was clean and inviting. Cute decor. Liked that the pool wasn't rectangular and got wider at the deep end. It's small but still nice with a 6 ft depth. There was also a nice medium sized playground with a fair amount of equipment for guests enjoyment.
