Travel back in time with Expedition: Dinosaur! It's the most fun you've had in the last 75 million years! Coming to Science Spectrum February 15th through June 1st, 2025! This exhibition combines engaging interactives with life-like animatronic dinosaurs and exciting educational content. These realistic robotic creatures will awe guests with their lifelike size, thrilling sounds, and exciting special effects. Visitors will feel as if they are truly walking among the dinosaurs. Discover more about these dynamic Jurassic dinosaur species: Albertosaurus (Related to Tyrannosaurus Rex) Amargasaurus, Carnotaurus, Kentrosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Velociraptors, Dilophosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus. In addition to the amazing animatronics, Expedition Dinosaur incorporates a wide range of hands-on interactive experiences into the exhibit. Step into the shoes of a paleontologist with interactive cabinets filled with excavation artifacts and fossils. Guests of all ages can also play around with the augmented reality sandbox to learn how Earth's climate is affected by the landscape. Try your hand at the egg incubator robot, but be careful not to crack under pressure! Solve puzzles that allow guests to mix and match dinosaur species and put together Pangea from our contemporary continents. Children can also stop by the rubbing station to take home an etching of several species of dinosaur. There are also several interactives focused on the anatomy of dinosaurs. Guests can see the movement of dinosaurs' tails, the function of dinosaur gizzards, the process of dinosaur eggs hatching, and a simulation of dinosaurs knocking heads. After visiting the Jurassic era, guests will not only take away the awe of seeing these beautiful creatures and fascinating facts about the prehistoric landscape, but the exhibit also features an extraordinary photo-op with a T-Rex head for a very unique souvenir! Travel back in time through the National Ranching Heritage Center's 19-acre historical park! Trolley tours provide a unique opportunity for guests to learn about the rich history of the park's authentic ranching structures and the stories of people who left their legacies. The Foy Proctor Historical Park at the NRHC features 55 authentic ranching structures dating from the 1780s to the 1950s. They have been disassembled, relocated and arranged chronologically in the park to tell the story of the birth, growth and maturity of the ranching industry in the United States.
