Our stay at KOA Louisville South was mixed. We appreciated the friendly staff at the front desk when we checked in. We did not have many other experiences with the staff throughout our stay. We were not thrilled with the space we were in and how tight the spaces were. We were in space #271.

The bad: Disappointing hot shower in a cold bathroom. Impossible to get level on an extremely sloped sight. Expensive for the site The good: Super nice and helpful staff. Quiet after dark. Nice walking trails connected to park. The ugly: Paid almost half the price at a a gorgeous Tennessee state park and it was 5 stars in every category.

Staff was rude upon check in. Tried to say they didn’t allow visitors although website says they did. We were there wanting to check our visitor in and pay for them and we’re given a hard time. Also man on golf cart approached us immediately as we pulled in and was very confrontational because we had not gone straight to the front desk even though we were prepaid and had site #.

My husband made a mistake on our reservation location. We arrived after closing to find out we had the wrong KOA. The staff graciously let us in and worked with us to make sure we had a site.

Very clean and quiet KOA. The bathrooms were spotless and just all around fantastic. This is our second or third time here and won't be our last. Anytime we are in this area we stay here. Louisville has a lot to offer in the fall and winter, and this KOA is a great place to stay!

Park is great. My only negative comment is that there is a lot of Trash on the ground.

I've been living here at KOA for around five years now, I didn't plan to be here that long but health issues concerning both myself and my father have limited my options but in this case I'm glad it worked out this way. This KOA is very nice and the staff even more so. I've seen several managers come and go but I have to say that the latest one is really getting things done.

The sites are not as advertised on the website, the site I picked was wooded, when I asked the receptionist about it, she said I should never go by the pictures!?!? There are some nice trails, the sites are very close together.

We stopped for an overnight stay on our way back to Ohio. The campground was nice, very clean with lots of amenities. Some of the campsites our pretty tight and close to each other, but we didn’t have any issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Campground needs TLC. Difficult to drive around when you can't tell your site from the road, needs better manicuring!!!!! Camp host, no customer service. When she guided us to our site she didn't even acknowledge us just waved us to follow and pointed to our site and sped off. No have a nice day, any questions let us know etc. Site dirty, grill filthy. WIFI horrible

This was a family stay. We always enjoy the campground. We were surprised that the pool was still open so late in the season as my granddaughter lived swim. We have visited very often and the staff is awesome.

Staff is incredible friendly. We arrived after hours and they were sure we knew what to do. An off-duty host happened to see us arrive and drove us to our site. My one complaint is the site wasn’t very level side-to-side. It’s a cute campground that seems to have improvements each time we visit.

Our stay was good this past weekend. We had a KOA Patio Back in site, which was awesome as usual, but our 40' camper has our plug in on the back of the camper and the electrical outlet was in the front of the site, so we had to have our camper at the front of the site for our 25' cord to reach. We were not able to park our truck in the site as a result. Outside of this, our stay was great.

Very nice , clean, very friendly staff. Sites aren’t paved and there are a few potholes (for the high cost) or I would give it a 5 star - we would return here for sure

Staff was very friendly, store well stocked, nice dog run and outside activities, however, Hwy 44 to campground is congested and busy. The airport is very close and is noisy especially at night when cargo planes are arriving. Placement of sewage and electric attachment are not practical for pull through sites. Park has trees over the sites that drop acorns onto the roof of MH.

This place will not disappoint. This is by far the best KOA Campground we’ve stayed at so far. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The huge shade trees everywhere were awesome. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Louisville South KOA! The site is well situated, and there are so many activities. Staff were very friendly, and even though the site was packed, it was nice and quiet at night. We will definitely be back!
