KOA south is a very nice campground. It is very well kept, clean, and quiet. We had a short stay here after I had surgery in Louisville. We would’ve stayed longer, but the winter storm changed our plans. The manager went out of her way to help us, and I really appreciate that. There were lots of activities for families, pool, basketball, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed this RV Park VERY much. Spacious, clean, top quality, quiet. Great laundry room, lovely playground. Exceptional location. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early because of a winter storm coming at home (Chicago), and we needed to get back before it hit. We hoped that they might offer us a partial refund for that last day that we missed, but they didn't; so, 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a clean park and the staff were friendly and helpful. My stop was for only one night but I'd visit again.

I wish campground managers would conduct a mock stay for themselves. Arrive in the winter, after dark, tired, and ready for a hot shower. Then take a shower in a kind heated shower house, water just lukewarm, and water pressure almost nonexistent. Just try out your facilities and see what you could do to make them a little better.

We always try a KOA because of cleanliness and ease of stay! This one did not disappoint in that aspect but we were told a 71’ site (41 ft motorhome with a tow vehicle) and we were in the road on front and rear. Exit our motorhome inches from next campsites septic hole was our biggest issue!

The sites are on the small side and the women’s bathroom needs more heat. It got down to 28 overnight and the women’s bathroom was barely heated. All of the staff are very friendly!

After a rough first night (of two), this turned out to be a great spot. The staff instantly fixed our issues with an upgraded site right near the bathhouse (making a 4-star stay into a 5-star one). When I had trouble backing in, a staff member came right over to guide us. It was incredibly peaceful there. As it's only ten minutes away from my aunt in Louisville, we'll definitely be back!

We arrived late evening and was escorted to our spot which I would not have fun since it was dark. The folks there were excellent in everyday. We will definitely stay there next year when heading south for the winter. A BIG THANK YOU FROM THE ROCK FAMILY

This campground is like staying at a resort. The staff are absolutely fantastic and provide the highest quality of service with everything they do. The campground is so clean with lots to do and explore. We had an excellent experience and are looking forward to our next stay there!

This is a nice KOA. Great for an overnight stay off I-65 or a few days visiting the area. Looks like a lot of activities for kids.

The park itself is very nice. However, had we known it was so close to the airport and there was a steady stream of airliners overhead all night long, we would have found alternate accommodations.

2nd time in 10 days that we have camped there on our way to Dallas and back. Very neat and accommodating park. Lots of room. Quiet place.

We stayed in site 288 which was a tight fit next to the paw paw pen. As we do not have dogs we were not a fan of being right next to it. The campground is in the flight zone of the Louisville Int'l Airport. It is constant noise day and night. Shower house needs updated and a code is needed to get in every time. Overall it was a nice place and hiking trails on site.

Was driving through state and stayed there. Rates were good - off season. However, was not able to log into internet. Called for help but he was unable to help. Said probably too many people on it……

My wife and I have stayed here many times now. We stay here when we come to Kentucky to visit our son and his wife. We have a 28 foot Thor RV. We have stayed in a different site each visit. Every site we have been in has been well maintained and level...we have had to use a few leveling blocks at times, but the last 2 times there have been very level and easy setup. Thanks AGAIN for a nice stay!!

It was a busy weekend, so we used it as a hub for our excursions. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I’m making plans to visit in the spring.

Nice campground but KOA tends to be a bit pricey for a place to park overnight. We are headed to Arizona for our annual visit and campgrounds along the way tend to be in the $35-$45 dollar range. It is what it is but on a fixed income and do not use any amenities we will use other campgrounds when possible. Thank you.

We loved our stay at the Louisville South KOA! The site is well situated, and there are so many activities. Staff were very friendly, and even though the site was packed, it was nice and quiet at night. We will definitely be back!
