We were initially told we’d be in 243, but escorted to 359 in the section where long term residents stay. While everyone was friendly, our site had not been maintained in weeks. We did ask if someone could blow the leaves away a little. We tried but it was more than our electric blower could do. Grass was high, weeds tall, just looked junky. The trail was okay. Pond was dried up, no longer in us

Enjoyed the clean and beautifully landscaped grounds…staff was helpful and consistently pleasant…didn’t care for the dumpster-emptying racket at 1:30AM, however…would definitely return!

Clean, quiet and nice staff. Dog park could be larger. The private dog sites are awesome. I would love to see them available on the cabins

Staff was excellent in their response to my request for tree trimming. Site required extra leveling blocks which resulted in front tires off ground (not my preferred method). Access to Cleveland and friends was great.

We needed to make a trip towing a small cargo trailer instead of our travel trailer -- as we always enjoyed the top notch facilities at KOAs, we thought we'd try staying in a cabin instead of a motel -- and we were very happy to have made that choice. The cabins are very nice -- and, of course, you get the great KOA staff if you need assistance.

KOA in general is getting way overpriced.I say this as a consumer and shareholder.King bed with bathtub and tv down the street at Motel 6 for $69 allows pets so no real advantage to RV.$85 for a parking spot, even with full hookups, is too much. KOA used to be a good place to stop,now all want to be resorts.This location is on the airport flight path but does have a nice nature trail.Staff is nice

Campground was very clean and well laid out. It was extremely family friendly. Something for everyone. We truly enjoyed our stay and would plan to stay there again anytime we are in the area.

We had a great stay. Nice and very quiet KOA. Yes, you are in the flight path of Louisville airport, but you get used to it. Very nice Dog park, pool and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.

Gave it a 2nd shot. Went with full h/u pull through this yr. & although it was level, there was no shade whatsoever, site was still crammed in, zero privacy as our fire ring was 5 steps from road, and the site next to us was used the majority of the weekend as a driveway. The golf cart hospitality man was great, but the office staff made a rude comment as I was leaving that I defintely heard.

Sites are not well maintained, unlevel, and very tight. Picnic tables are old and rickety. They didn’t honor our scheduling request, which was very frustrating. Bathrooms are tight and full of mildew. If this weren’t the only campground in the area I wouldn’t ever stay there again.

The stay was as wonderful as the last time I stayed there. My friend and I were able to relax and enjoy the time between visiting bourbon distilleries. Water was an issue for our site again. Unsure how it works at other KOAs though. Thank you for the friendly staff and the clean facilities. The leveled spot was convenient and made set up easy.

I stay at KOA’s whenever I can and as far as service and campground cleanliness- it was top notch. The bathrooms left something to be desired compared to other KOA’s but that’s minor. It’s in a great location, and the staff were all amazing. The only other thing, would be TV’s in the cabins. I stayed in one w a tv and it was nice to lay in bed on a rainy night with a movie. This was our second time staying here. I have to say that the work campers this year are to be commended for their helpfulness.. Our site had an issue that could not be fixed, they moved us to an upgraded site, The walking trails are great for exercising your pups after being on the highway for hours. Very nice campground.

Rough start with electric panel but guy came in the morning and fixed it. Everything was great lots changed since our last stay the park has many more sites lots of events going on around that we didn't know earlier to get tickets to but still had fun

We go to the KOA's first our children. The jumpy pillow is now gone and there's no more movies under the stars on the big screen. Thats a bummer for my little ones. We really love a few of the staff members but I believe our time at the koa is coming to an end.

The site I was put in was hard to get in and very difficult to get out of due to trees and a truck that was parked wrong blocking the best way out. The staff and overall camp was nice.

Campground is very nice,in fact we are going back soon. Our site was not great,mesh from grass was a trip hazard,and it was rather narrow and small. But the campground as a whole was quite enjoyable.

Jim, housekeeping, VERY attentive to our request! :) Entry door 'sticks' in closed position;; top 1/4 of door jam rubs, requiring great force to open. I did interim adjustment, AND applied special lubricant to facilitate opening. Suggest:: re-evaluation of wood price. It is not competitive . Using::"Fly strip(s)", eliminated 'pesty' flys, within several hours. Glenn Barnes

We loved our stay at the Louisville South KOA! The site is well situated, and there are so many activities. Staff were very friendly, and even though the site was packed, it was nice and quiet at night. We will definitely be back!
