Across the street is Fairplex, home of the annual LA County Fair every September and a host of more than 300 other culturally diverse events. Please check the website for details on each event.
Across the street on the Fairplex grounds is the NHRA Motorsports Museum. It is located in Building 3A just inside Fairplex Gate 1, off McKinley Ave. It is open to the public all year long.
Museum hours are:
Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
There may be extended hours and special admission during the drag races in February and November.

The RailGians Train Museum is open free during the second Saturday and Sunday of each month, except Mother's Day. We are also open every day of the LA County Fair that occurs in September, at no additional charge.

The Fairplex Garden Railroad is open the second Sunday of each month, November-July, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The popular G-gauge outdoor miniature railroad is located on the Fairplex grounds. The trains journey through various eras of California history from the mid-1800s through the years. Up to 23 different trains can operate at the same time over 8,000 feet of track on nearly an acre of landscape. This is the oldest and largest public operating garden railroad in the United States. The exhibit is free of charge. It is located near Gate 1 on McKinley Ave.
