Did you know we have a 685 acre lake in addition to miles of pristine beach? Stretching over three miles, Devils Lake is naturally shallow and is more sheltered from the coastal winds. Devils Lake has earned the title of “World's Fastest Lake” and is home to D River, the “World's Shortest River.”
From the iconic sea stacks with their triumphant trees, to the sandy beach below Mo's Chowder and other Taft District business, the Siletz Bay offers a variety of interesting locations and activities.
With strong summer and winter runs of steelhead, and catches throughout the year, it's not unusual for the Siletz River's anglers to take home about 4,000 hatchery fish in a calendar year. Crab with ease from the shore, or dig clams on the mudflats at low tide. Catch your dinner on the bay!
About 15 miles south of Lincoln City, you'll find the ever popular Depoe Bay with scenic views, whale watching, and the Spouting Horn.

Antique shops and used book stores abound in Lincoln City, which was once named one of the great undiscovered places to antique in the United States. It may seem curious that Lincoln City, one of the youngest communities on the Oregon Coast, would be a good place to find antiques. But in the five historic neighborhoods – Delake, Oceanlake, Nelscott, Taft and Cutler City – you'll find a rich history and a love of fine, old things. In addition, there are several vintage book stores which deal in those hard-to-find volumes you have always wanted to display on your bookshelf. Collectors can find rare books or stock their shelves with favorite writers, regions or subjects.
Surrounded by the towering fir and spruce of the Oregon coastal forest and the tranquil waters of Siletz bay, the top-caliber Salishan golf course is as magnificent as it is challenging. Start on the front nine, surrounded by old-growth trees, and play through to the links-style back nine with spectacular pond and bay views. Relax with a meal or drink at The Grill in the clubhouse after your game, or browse our pro shop, featuring Nike apparel. Come play with us at the most scenic golf resort on the Oregon Coast.
Whether you tour the dunes in a "limo" ATV with a group, or ride with the wind individually, you're sure to have a bundle of fun in Florence.

The Lincoln City Sandcastle Contest at Siletz Bay is a wondrous, fun-filled day celebrating one of Lincoln City's best adventures—playing on our beaches.
Take part in the Sandcastle Contest, held at Siletz Bay in the Historic Taft District presented by Mo's Lincoln City. Watch the sand come to life and become marine life, castles and characters.
Registration for the contest begins at 11am off SW 51st Street. Registration is free, but a donation of a non-perishable food item per person is encouraged—all donations benefit the Lincoln City Food Pantry.
Only sand, water, shells and other natural beach materials found on the beach that day can be used for construction. Forms can be used in the construction process but cannot
support the final structure. Hand tools are allowed, but not power tools. This is an amateur competition—professional “sand artists” are disqualified from winning prizes.
