My little cabin was cozy and gave me shelter from the high winds. The bathrooms were clean and warm. I loved always seeing cute little bunnies outside my home-for-the-night.

We love the Limon KOA but this recent December visit and one in July weren’t the greatest. In July, the AC unit had not been turned on before our arrival. It was sweltering hot and the AC never caught up. This time the heating unit kept turning off in the middle of the night, which was freezing. We had down blankets, so we were fine. But would really love to better cooling and heating units.

The guy at the desk was nice and helpful, but the cabin not so good. The TV didn't work and a light on the ceiling kept flashing on my face during the night. It was disappointing.

I would have given a 4, but we stayed in cabin 3 and the door gets stuck on the floor and doesn't open well at all, other than that it was nice. This isn't a destination KOA, as the surrounding are pretty bland, but it makes a great pit stop along the way! Bathrooms were very clean and fully stocked. Office was closed when I arrived, but my keys were ready for me, very convenient!! Thank you Limon

Our RV camping spot was not bad. However, the cabin we rented for the lady traveling with us was embarrassing. It was not clean, the door had to be lifted to close it as it scraped across the floor. It was a hot day and it would have been really good if the air conditioning had been turned on in the afternoon before we arrived. It took all evening to try to cool it down enough to sleep

The campground badly needs paint and updating. The cabin we stayed in was covered in dead bugs and moths, the mattress was torn, the door scrapped on the floor preventing it from opening all the way, the toliet moved when I sat on it, overall the entire campground needs TLC. We were told that new ownership has taken over and perhaps they need more time to address all the needs and find employees.

Friendly staff checked me in for my stay. The tiny home was more than I could have imagined. Great pizza in the office! Will definitely be back!

very nice and clean. Only issue is the TV didn't work. After a long day of driving for 14 hrs. being able to lay down and watch a little TV is kind of important to me. other than that place was great. Thxs

No running fresh water, staff late on opening the office. This place is in extremely poor condition. Horrible location as well. I will avoid this place at all cost. I would rather sleep on the side of the highway.

I specifically chose this cabin because it had a tv. Had I known that the cable was OUT all night I wouldn’t have picked that one. I did notice that the smoke detector battery compartment was open and I couldn’t reach it to close it.

We had to adjust the slats in the bed. Had a gap where set and was hard to get out. The slats need to evenly spaced, which we did. Had a comfortable night. Thanks

I stay at this location often. When I stayed on 11/20 I was in a cabin that I had never stayed in before. The bed was missing a few slats and made it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep in. The cable was not working. My next stay on 11/27 I requested to be in a different cabin. The bed was great but the cable was still an issue. I found out that there was an ongoing issue with the cable.

The cabin would not get warmer than 48 degrees all night. Might as well have slept in our car. Got 0 sleep so left before the sun came up just to get warm. Really sad cause we have stayed here before in the spring/summer and never had a problem. Definitely never staying in the winter again…$75 to freeze our butts off is ridiculous…hung out in the womens bathroom cause it was warmer in there.

We have been coming to this KOA for nearly 30 years thru 4 or 5 different owners and it has always been great. It is now falling apart. No longer sell ice, no place to wash dishes, breakfast and coffee gone, pizza gone, lock would not work and locked us out of cabin for an hour, light bulbs mostly burned out in bathroom and one shorting out in the cabin, not very clean. So sad, it was so nice

We stayed on our way out and back from Moab. Camper cabin both time and found the cabins in dire need of cleaning - dead bugs on floor and windows, pet hair, just overall dirty. Mentioned things to the staff and was given a dear in the headlights response - surely others have mentioned this, the lack a cleanliness was not a simple one time oversight of cleaning service. This KOA is crossed off.

Clean Cabins, Clean Bathrooms, Clean areas throughout the KOA. Great place for an overnight stay or a staging point for going to The Paint Mines, Sandy Creek Massacre sight, Limon Wetlands, and a couple other sight seeing locations. There are No real walking/hiking trails or any sort of night life in Limon!

This is probably one of the most clean Koa’s around! We love this one for so many reasons! Only thing I’d suggest would be to get up high in the cabins for the cobwebs… otherwise this place is perfect and the staff here are over the top kind and helpful!! Thank you for the stay! We will definitely be back!

Stay at this location several times, mostly due to the large dog park. Highly disappointed on this visit, dog park was overgrown with weeds, unkept, no doggie bags available.

We stayed in a cabin, which is our usual. We have stayed here many times previously. This place is in need of refurbishment. Bathrooms not clean. Place needs general sprucing up. People however were great!

It was a good value. The shower stalls are tiny, and nowhere to sit to dress or undress, or lay clothes. However, there were a couple of hooks. The staff was polite and came to offer assistance with the wifi.

Disappointed paper towels and toilet paper was not stocked at all times in the bathroom. There was no place for campers to do dishes. Concrete platforms the picnic tables were on were too small too easy to trip or step off ankle twister!

The facilities were clean, and the staff was very helpful and nice. If I were going to stay for an extended period of time I would bring a mattress topper. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Staff member was very helpful booking over the phone at the last minute. Friendly and helpful. I stayed in a kabin - clean, quiet was comforting to have my car right outside the door.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and will continue to when our travel schedule allows. Park/facilities is clean and staff is very friendly. Limon itself is ok. There are some junky areas outside the park that take away from it just a bit but not a deterrent to staying here.

Absolutely LOVE my time at the Limon Journey KOA. Kirsten is an awesome communicator and was available the entire time. The cabins are adorable and perfect for a place to lay your head. The porch swing is a great to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax. The fact that there are 2 dog parks and lots of rabbits to bark at makes this a great place to let the pup stretch their legs after long car rides. A++

We feel this KOA is a good place to stop for the night or spend several days here as a base camp. We felt the upgraded tent sites are worth traveling extra distance to stay here. This KOA is no secret as it is always quite busy. Reservations during the warmer months are strongly encouraged. We visited May 2024
