The staff at the Limon KOA was extraordinary! And they all went out of their way to make sure every camper was happy and comfortable! And the manager, Aliyah, was a phenomenal host and manager! You could also tell a lot of work had been done to the campground to make it more scenic! I was very impressed!

The young lady working the front desk at checkin was unbelievably awesome at her job. I needed to renew my membership (hadn’t renewed because of Covid). She was very efficient in getting everything all taken care of. Recommend places to eat in Limon. Very sweet young lady with a great personality. Right off I 70. Our spot was nice, big pull through. High water pressure. Need a regulator.

Stay was good. Considering that was a back up site I found it expensive for the night. But in general the campground is good and well maintained.

Average campground. Okay as a stop over, but not as a destination campground. Sites are close together, lacking privacy or even a sense of your own space. Trash in the bathroom stalls were full but the bathrooms themselves were clean and stocked. Seems to have some great amenities to keep the families occupied though I didn’t have a chance to try them.

Were assigned Spot 15 which was fairly wide and long. We were able to extend slides without any problem. We were not able to leave our truck hooked up though as the electric and water were near the back and our Landmark has its water more centered. However, no problem as there was more than enough room in the rear to park it without it intruding in the roadways. Web phone number is old. Use 800 #

The grounds are nice and clean, safe, and secure. Would definitely stay here again if back up this way.

Unfortunately this KOA is in need of improvements. Sites aren’t level, garbage left from previous campers. The manager was very nice and helpful but it is not her fault that the owners have not invested in making the place nicer.

This is a good place to stay but not the best. The pads are large gravel. The sites are really close together. This is the second time we've stayed here. It is in a good location which fit into our trip. But I wouldn't be going there except as a stop one night kind of place

camp ground was dirty, office help rude. We tried to get online, and couldn't, called the office for assistance and was told that the problem was on our end, and that there was nothing wrong with the Wi-Fi. We will not stay at this campground again.

Park has better WiFi than most, however we were spot 57, it was like a ditch, with large berms on both sides that were steep to walk on.

We have stayed several times at this KOA, however this time you could tell that the sites are not kept up as nice as they were in previous stays. Also with this being one of the highest amounts that we pay for staying at a park on our travels I would think you could take some of that money and take care of your sites better.

We arrived after hours and were grateful that the park gates were open. We filled out the after hours paperwork and put it in the box. Very easy and convenient. Park was well marked even with it being dark. Great experience :)

Never been plagued by so many mosquitoes ever, and we spend a lot of time in the south. Our space was in a big mud puddle, bathrooms dark and mosquito ridden. Last night we stayed at a Sun Resort in Mesquite with spotless bathrooms with a/c, immaculate grounds for 42.00 a night. Now we are wondering why we have been KOA loyal.

The site was very neat and great to pull thru. But the WiFi was not good and we were parked next to office. We would probably stay again but only in emergency.

VISITING FAMILY IN THE AREA. We enjoyed your KOA, clean, pool very nice, game room and jump pad were enjoyed by our great grand kids, laundry very clean and the restrooms were very clean.

only stayed as a stop and go didn't really check out the place. Didn't use the bathrooms or laundry so I can't comment on those. The place was just a basic campground in my eyes nothing special or nothing bad either

No cable tv and WiFi was beyond capacity. Staff acknowledged old infrastructure. Not at all what you would expect from KOA for their prices.

A truly hidden gem in Limon, CO! Staff was incredibly friendly, site was clean and level, store was well stocked and the bathrooms were spotless.

It was just a overnight but no tv access no internet. Mushy gravel site, high water pressure so regulator is a must. Not worth $75 a night.

Small, poorly maintained sites. Internet was so weak it would not register on any of the 4 devices we attempted to connect to it. The price was ridiculous based on the quality of the facility. One of the worst KOAs we have ever visited.

We didn't stay at Limon KOA @ this time. I cancelled the stay, but was still charged the full price. We had to bypass Limon on this trip due to a family funeral. Very disappointed in this service. We have stayed @ Limon KOA before & were satisfied with it.

The campground is basically an empty parking lot with water, electric and sewer hookups. If your desperate for someplace to stay it's ok.

We were there the night the Tornadoes hit about 40 minutes away. Where to go in case of storms would have been helpful. We stayed in the laundry room but many did not leave their campers. It seemed to be a very dangerous situation. There were no warning sirens and we didn’t have tv to even know how close they were.

Functional but that’s about it. The sites are not well cared for. Just not up to KOA standards. If you must stop it’s ok. Otherwise, keep going.

The dark haired girl that checked me in was very rude. When I asked about the Pizza, she responded with a curt "What about it" How late do they take orders? If you want one, you need to order by 4:30. Not the welcoming behavior I have experienced at KOA. However, I later asked the young lady working outside to help me with change for laundry and she was very cordial. Major Contrast in behavior.

Too much standing water and hasn’t been kept up. They had no phone service so we had take a chance they had an opening. I really don’t like plugging in to 50 amp while standing in water.

The park was okay. Dog park would have been nice but mostly flooded (not their problem, of course). It was convenient because all the unknown campgrounds had bad reviews.They had flooding in park but they did give me a fairly dry one. But…I saw some that were perfectly dry. Not sure if they were reserved. If you need to overnight , it’s fine.

Nice staff and spot was level. Quiet and plenty of space. The dog parks were nice to have. Really enjoyed this place and would stop again.

We feel this KOA is a good place to stop for the night or spend several days here as a base camp. We felt the upgraded tent sites are worth traveling extra distance to stay here. This KOA is no secret as it is always quite busy. Reservations during the warmer months are strongly encouraged. We visited May 2024
