When we reserved a space we indicated the length of our motorhome. We asked for a longer space and they gave us a paved spot for $7 more. They said that the water pressure was extremely high and to make certain we had a pressure regulator. The WIFI did not work, nor did the cable.

This was our second stay! This is a very nice place. We had a little trouble with the 50 amp, but luckily we were able to use 30amps. That was the only bad thing. We will definitely stay here again!

Got there after hours. The site we chose was one of several by completing an envelope application at the office which listed it as for RV, included water and electric. We could not put our 16 foot travel trailer on it, no room. The adjacent site we switched to had to re-do paperwork, had no water despite advertised as water. Internet listed as no password actually was pw protected so had no intern

Koa Campground in poor condition. Picnic table at our site broken and warped, wire sticking out of ground by Picnic table. Trash was overflowing hasn't been emptied in a while. Dog potty bags dispensers all empty. City owned dog park has not been mowed in awhile. Cable is broken and has been for quite awhile. Wi-Fi is a joke. Sites need a lot of work. No shade at all. We paid $68 for one night.

Very poor tent camping sites. On gravel. Overall campground lacks mature trees and shade. Restroom facilities were mediocre.

It’s clear the new owners are working on things! We paid for full hookups and our water didn’t work. There was no offer to reduce or refund any fee. Some suggestions for the new owners as they are fixing things up … besides fixing the water. Fix the leaky washing machine. Reconfigure the washers and dryers so that the stackable dryers are easier to get to. Empty doggie dumpsters more o

This campground should NOT be associated with KOA! The property is in poor condition, no attempt to cut weeds from the property or maintain this campground! Sites are very tight, my picnic table was under my neighbors slide out.

The KOA is a little run down for the money you pay. Bypass if you can but for the power needed, it was HOT, then ok.

Overall disappointment for KOA & price,one of the most expensive in our 3 mth. cross-country, FL to Alaska trip. Zev was great at check-in. Bathrooms & showers were nice. The bathhouse fence is rotten & needs painting and there was miscellaneous stuff laying around under stairwells. Just not neat & professional looking. Disappointment to us and KOA. We have stayed here over the past 5 years and on this trip I was very disappointed in the campground. No mowing, trash cans full, dog park was terrible, plus no wifi and no cable. Hope it gets improved soon.

This park needs a new KOA flag. Doggie dump stations should be removed if the staff is not going to empty. Not too much attention to detail as though some sites cannot be used. They are totally overgrown. Nice pool. Staff friendly.

The hook up’s were ok, no Wi-Fi and there was a dead tree at our site. Made reservations a couple of hours before arrival but they said nothing about the Wi-Fi not working.

Just an overnight stop. Bathrooms a little dated but very clean. Friendly staff. Grounds need a little tidy up. Couple of big dead branches on the ground covering sites. Watch the water pressure! Still for our overnight needs it was just fine.

Passing through and stayed the night. Despite being so close to the highway I slept great in my tent and had decent facilities to prepare for the second half of the drive. Always a good experience

The location was good for a one night stay as a traveler passing through Limon. Men's bathroom had a problem with a standing water puddle in front of half of the bathroom sink. Also noticed a water leak through the wall of the shower adjacent to one of the toilets. Would recommend repairing these maintenance items. In spite of these items, I would consider visiting again.

This was an older campground that needed some maintenance. The pool was cloudy and unclean. The landscape around the pool and elsewhere needed trimming, weeding and general cleanup. Overall, not what we expected.

Staff was nice and campground sites were clean and level. Unfortunately there was no cable, WI-FI was down and their hose to refill propane was broken so a little frustrating.

Limon KOA fulfilled our need for a one-night stopover in route out west but otherwise the lack of trees/vegetation, privacy/space and proximity to the highway would keep me from returning. We did not use any of the facilities (laundry, pool, restrooms) so no opinion on those amenities.

Our RV camping spot was not bad. However, the cabin we rented for the lady traveling with us was embarrassing. It was not clean, the door had to be lifted to close it as it scraped across the floor. It was a hot day and it would have been really good if the air conditioning had been turned on in the afternoon before we arrived. It took all evening to try to cool it down enough to sleep

This place was a nightmare of ownership not caring at all about representing KOA or this location. The dog poop stations had NEVER been emptied and bags never refilled. The weeds were relentless in the campground. All posted complaints from 2 years ago are still in affect. The management doesn't keep the hours posted on the internet. Would not come back or recommend this site as a tent camper. The tent sites were poor; advertised as a sand pad, not a pad at all. Had tons of weeds and a huge stump in the middle of the site. We reserved an electric site; electricity didn't work. The office closed an hour before stated online so we couldn't address this with anyone. We feel this KOA is a good place to stop for the night or spend several days here as a base camp. We felt the upgraded tent sites are worth traveling extra distance to stay here. This KOA is no secret as it is always quite busy. Reservations during the warmer months are strongly encouraged. We visited May 2024
