We had such a wonderful time we extended our stay another week. The employees are so cheerful and accommodating and the campground is beautifully maintained. Can’t wait to return.

We were there for an overnight stay. The staff was incredibly friendly; the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained!

We were there the Friday of the 80 mph thunderstorm. Staff was outstanding that entire weekend making sure everyone was okay, taking care of the damage and cleaning up the campground! 10 out of 10!!

What a wonderful stay. Our RV site was great with the concrete patio, grill, table and chairs! The two cabins we rented for our family were equally wonderful!

We always have an amazing time here. We had a night of nasty weather, which blew down a bunch of trees. The next morning everyone was out helping. We had a tree fall on our camper and I couldn’t tell you how many times the staff and seasonal people asked if we needed anything. The owner Joe is extremely welcoming. He is very appreciative and shows it…. We love Lena KOA and come back every year

We invited family members who have never been camping to this KOA this past weekend & they fell in love with camping thanks to the beautiful sites, the many activities for kids & fun community events! The owners really take care of the place & they are so warm and friendly. It was only our second time to this KOA (and any KOA) and we absolutely love it here. It is our new go to!

Despite the two major storms that can through we had a decent stay. Was disappointed that the grounds didn't waive the ice cream social cost for all the campers that helped clean up the grounds after storm #2. Saved the staff a lot of hours of cleanup. Also inclement weather shelter notices should be more clearly marked/communicated.

We had a wonderful week other than a few storms! The Workers and Campers were right on it the next morning though. Thankfully no one was injured, you can always repair or replace Units...This has to be the best Campground in Illinois and maybe in the Midwest by far!!!

While we were there a big storm blew through knocking trees down everywhere. Staff did a great job helping everyone pick up the pieces afterwards. Very nice and clean campground with a friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

I camped at Lena KOA four times this summer, each time with a different grandchild. I’m hoping to make lasting memories. This campground meets all of my camping needs from the convenience of my campsite to all the activities to enjoy with my grandchildren. Joe helped to start my car when it wouldn’t start on one of my trips. Just an example of the consideration I always experience here.

We just did an overnight stay and it was so nice. Part of me wanted to stay more because my kids loved the pool and chess set.

Extremely nice, well kept , campground!! Staff is always so nice and friendly. Credence was very accommodating , after learning we had a new dog with us (a barker), she offended a less "stimulating" site than the one they had previously picked for us. There truly is not a bad site anywhere in the park. That has just one of the way Lena goes above and beyond guest accommodation.

Camped there a few times in the past few years. Never had a problem. Hookups for travel trailer are all in great condition. Park is very clean and landscaping is beautiful. Everyone in the park is friendly and the staff are always out and about working. We will definitely go back.

A Great stay at the Lena KOA’. Was able to catch up with friends and make new friends, swim, relax and enjoy myself!! Joe and Diane and their staff are top notch with clean, safe welcoming Kampground!

We had stayed at Lena KOA last summer and liked it so much; we invited our daughter's family to come with us this year! Everything was as expected. Our grandchildren asked if they could come back again! There are plenty of activities to keep the kids happy. I would like to suggest maybe a couple of activities for the older adults as well. Perhaps a pickle ball court? Thanks for the memories.

I love this KOA. I would give it 5 stars if the bathroom by the pool was kept cleaner. It really needed more tending to. I'm fact even our 9 year old thought it was creepy. We typically stay near the bathrooms in the back of the campground and those have always been clean. I understand the bathroom by the pool gets more traffic but that is not an excuse for not keeping it clean.

They made it very easy to book a weekend trip. They make sure you are well aware of all the awesome activities with texts throughout the day. Unfortunately, we did forget a bike helmet at the campground and it was difficult to coordinate with them to ship it to me, however, they were kind enough to hold on to it for at least a week until I could drive out there and pick it up. On a side note, they have an amazing selection of beverages from the local establishment that will certainly leave you wanting more.
