Great stay. Busier than I expected. Neighbor had a husky that moaned for a while until around 10pm, then quiet at night. I didn't mind and thought it was hilarious. A few loud shouts heard throughout the park after sunset, all in fun. Lots of kids using the amenities like mini-golf. It's mostly RV's and the place to go if you want electric, or a community feel. Go to Hickory Hill for serenity.

This was an amazing campground! Clean, updated, and very quaint! They are very accommodating to families. Definitely would revisit and recommend to others.

Lena KOA Holiday is, without any doubt whatsoever, the absolute best KOA you could find anywhere. The grounds and facilities are always very well maintained. This is the cleanest KOA that I have stayed at. The staff and owners are all friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next stay at Lena KOA. They make you feel like family.

The campgrounds and cabin were very clean and lovely! Lots of activities and beautiful landscaping. We LOVED the gem mining activity so much! My one complaint is that the cabin was FREEZING. There was just one little tabletop space heater and even with the small cabin size it was not nearly enough. Upon checkout I was told there was a wall heater that was supposed to be turned on before ���

Very active and kid-friendly, especially this time of year with Halloween approaching. It was the first real cold weekend, but the staff here was busy with activities for kids and families. Always enjoy my weekends at Lena KOA. One of the best KOAs in the Midwest.

I really enjoyed my stay. My cabin (K1) was very cozy, especially when it rained all day. Only improvements I can see: 1: Buffer Route 20 noise somehow 2: Give the main house bathroom a little tlc. Replace toilet seats, replace ties or deep clean showers. 3: Add more evergreens/arborvitaes or bushes for more privacy between sites.

ALWAYS gave a magical and restful home here!! Joe and his family and staff are always so welcoming and kind and helpful. We come 2-3 times a year and always recommend it to your friends. Along with the beautiful cabins, grounds, and activities, there's plenty to do with the antiques near by, the liking at the state park and you have to check out Edward's Apple Orchards. :)

Well maintained campground. Love all the Fall decorations. Nice ouch having the incoming guest names listed by the front door. Well stocked cam store. we all ready booked for next year!

Campgrounds don't get any better. Billings should come and observe. Great WIFI, excellent electricity, lots of entertainment for the kids, beautifully landscaped and maintained, and run by really good people. Everything works. It is always packed.

Due to its proximity to Chicago and Galena we decided to check out Lena KOA Holiday for a future family camping trip. Park is clean with plenty to do for the grandkids. It also has a good variety of lodging options. Lots to do in the area including golf, state parks and dinning. Staff was extremely nice too. Looking forward to our future stay.

Stayed in a cabin. Perfect weather for Halloween weekend. A lot of fun with trick or treating for the kids, costume contest, hayrides and many other activites to keep busy. Helpful and friendly staff. Will definately be back next year.

They made it very easy to book a weekend trip. They make sure you are well aware of all the awesome activities with texts throughout the day. Unfortunately, we did forget a bike helmet at the campground and it was difficult to coordinate with them to ship it to me, however, they were kind enough to hold on to it for at least a week until I could drive out there and pick it up. On a side note, they have an amazing selection of beverages from the local establishment that will certainly leave you wanting more.
