Have you heard about the Care Camps? Care Camps provide medically-supervised camp opportunities to children living with cancer. And if you've been to the Lena KOA this summer, you will have seen lots of chances to contribute to this incredible program....and most of those opportunities are organized by our fantastic, orange-shirt wearing seasonal campers! Team Lena KOA is unstoppable and deserves a gigantic round of applause for all that they do.
This summer, Team Lena KOA organized raffles, Duck Races in the pool, a Craft Fair and a Treasures Under the Trees sale all to benefit Care Camps. We are so extremely proud to say that a check for $20,500 was recently mailed off and will be used for kids to attend Care Camps! Thank you not only to our incredible seasonal campers for their hard work, volunteerism, organization and selflessness, but to all of you who contributed to the funds raised.
