Grounds are beautifully well kept and clean. Service was friendly and very accommodating. Very family friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back with our family.

It was awesome staff is extremely helpful and kind. They also let us switch campsites because I messed up what kind of site I wanted. The campground grounds themself were immaculate very clean well kept I thought. Definitely will be returning here and excited to check out Koa’s else where in state and out.

Our site was miserable, we asked to move and the office seemed rather unreceptive and quite defensive to any feedback about the site. It was full sun, sand, the picnic table was wedges between two rocks and even if we could mow it, site was too small. However a very nice gal driving one the gators was incredibly kind, showed me the sites available and even offered to help us move.

The sites were a little cramped but not the end of the world. All of the staff I interacted with were great, clean facilities and lots of amenities. Overall a good weekend. In the future, I will forgo the electric tent site to have more space

My site is a bit small, but I love the on-site water and electric. Definitely need to book way in advance for a good spot

Wayyyyyy too crowded. Very dusty campground. No grass. Dirty bathrooms. Charge an insane amount for parking. Wouldn’t recommend.

Had thinks stolen from our site and never in all of my years camping and we camp a lot, have we ever had things stolen. Not the campgrounds fault but it was discouraging

All the staff were super friendly and helpful! I loved that you could dip in the river then warm up with a soak in the pool! And it is so close to all the shops in Leavenworth - we made a day of it walking there, shopping, lunch and then back to camp for a wonderful evening in front of the campfire. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We love this KOA. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the grounds are clean and well kept. It was great being able to rent tubing directly from the campground.

This is far an away the best KOA I have ever camped in. The staff, amenities, attention to the campers is a standard few other facilities of this kind have reached. Highly Recommended.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The site and amenities were clean and comfortable. I especially loved how quiet grounds were. Other campgrounds are often noisy after-hours and in the early mornings. Looking forward to a future visit!

Tent sites were OK, but the quarter-mile walk to the restroom was a bit much. We got used to that, but on our final night we went to brush teeth, etc before bed…only to find the restroom closed at least 30 minutes for cleaning. The employee said we’d have to use the other restroom…another quarter-mile away. Our round trip was a full mile. Who closes a restroom for cleaning during the evening

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Cleaning is vitally important for public health safety and that will not change. We measured the walking distance from site T1 to CS1 and it is exactly 63 yards/.0576 kilometers. For reference a 1/4 mile is 440 yards/.4023 kilometers. We are well within KOA requirements. Happy Kamping!

We had a great time in spite of the weather being a bit spotty. The only downsides were that breakfast was not available. We last came in 2019 and they had breakfast. Also, when it rained the game room was locked shut. No explanation why the game room cannot simply be left unlocked all day, but especially if it is rainy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Things have changed since 2019 and Covid. Breakfast is now and was available to you in the coffee shack. The activity building was closed for maintenance on the weekend you were here. It is opened during the hours posted on the schedules that are available throughout the park. Happy Kamping!

Comfort stations were great. Would be a great spot if staying at a cabin. We stayed at tent site 31 where a sprinkler was on nonstop and you can hear the train as well as people in a house nearby playing extremely loud music.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is unfortunate your stay was less than satisfactory. The sprinklers are there to deter bears and to protect the campground since we are heading into fire season. The trains are over two miles away which we are not allowed to move them. The neighbors noise should have been reported to desk.

When booking my stay, the advertising claimed to be a powered site. Naturally this is great for an EV driver. Then the moment you arrive, they plaster signs around that EV charging is not allowed yet make no mention of that restriction in their deceptive advertising. For reference my site had a proper 50amp plug.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our pedestals are not designed for this type of electrical activity and the use is at your discretion. The QR code on the labels clearly give information on the affects of not properly charging EV's which needs to be read.

We were very impressed with the amount of amenities available to us, and also with the cleanliness of the bathrooms!! Hands down the best camping experience we have ever had. It was our first time at a KOA, and we can’t wait to stay in more places! I hope the other KOAs are just as nice as this one.

We had a horrible time sleeping at night because of the air conditioning unit of the cabin next to us being on through the entire night. Some sort of sound-absorbing or other sound blocking object between our tent site and the cabin a/c unit would have made all the difference.

It is unfortunate your stay was less than satisfactory. We will be looking into cost effective options to help buffer the sounds coming from the rustic cabins that back up to tent sites. Happy Kamping!

Best KOA we’ve stayed at. There’s a young married couple I think from Missouri that were amazing! They were so helpful and we appreciated them. Thank you KOA for an awesome time, until next time!

Tent sites are tiny, horrible staff, coded bathroom to keep kids from using them (and instead go outside everywhere).

It was unfortunate your stay was less than satisfactory. The staff do their best to promote a positive atmosphere on the campground even when faced with hostile situations. It is sad there are those that feel the rules are for everyone but them. Happy Kamping!

My only complaint is the site being so small we were basically sardines. Also every time we have been there the hot tub is always closed, literally every time and we go every year.

The staff was very helpful and friendly The property was very clean. The pool was our favorite. Wish the hot tub was open and running. Ice cream was very good but the coffee was not great. Loved the shade trees around the campsites were large and spacious. Seemed to have lots of activities for younger children but not so much for teenagers.

Great campground. Very clean and well organized. Appreciated the ‘comfort stations’ -laundry, showers and washrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. We really liked our tenting campsite with the trees and privacy.
