The back part of the campground is beautiful. My kids had a great time on the playground and at the river, and we appreciated the extra caution the staff took to make sure Oktoberfest guests weren't disruptive.

Good layout, good location. Organized, clean and well run but too expensive. Value for your money is questionable in such trying times.

Our stay was quiet, relaxing, too short. Wi-Fi was strong. Cable tv had sufficient number of stations. Grounds clean. Personnel were all helpful. Our only issue was the 30a breaker was weak and tripped with almost no load. Used 50a to 30a plug adapter.

Pleasant three night getaway in little Bavaria. Staff accommodated a request to move site to the back of the park closer to the river access. Site was level and no issues with connections. Everyone was so helpful. Will return again.

We had a excellent time wish it was a bit cheaper but it's a really nice place and kept up very nice.

Biggest disappointment was we had a picnic table we could not use. It was covered is melted marshmallows when we arrived and also chunks of wood out of it as well. After walking around the campsite I truly believe it was the worst one in the campground. We mentioned it once at the office but nothing was done about it.

For the PREMIUM PRICE we paid - I had to sweep of our pad. If I had a rake I would have raked our area. Cigarette butts in the fire pit, disgusting. The flower beds were full of weeds. There were 3 completely dead dangerous trees, they can fall after the dry summer that was had. SERIOUSLY missed the shuttle into town. Landscape maintenance is neglected. We saw no one cleaning campsites.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The two dead trees died over the summer. Our arborist said they are structurally sound until we can remove them in offseason. Sites are worn out from summer and will be rebuilt over off season. There was a shuttle less than 100 yards from your site whi CB you were told about at checkin.

My wife and I absolutely loved this campground. Staff was outstanding...very helpful and accommodating. The campground itself was super clean and we really enjoyed the River Walk trail. It's close to town which was nice if you want to walk there. I will be back again and would definitely recommend this campground to friends.

We were greeted very well. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon 3rd week of september without a reservation. The hostess very leering said they might have room and made it very clear she was doing us a favor after all the next daay was a weekend.. We were assigned a site. everything on the KOA side was good, unfortunately, there was construction going on right next to us, so it was loud noise that started about 7 am everyday
