Cannot say enough wonderful things about this KOA! They definitely go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and convenient. I love the text notifications so that you don’t miss anything going on. Ice and firewood delivery to your campsite, garbage pickup is also nice. LOTS going on for the kiddos. Campground is clean and next to water access, centrally located and beautiful.

This park is convenient to Lovely Leavenworth, and it has many opportunities for entertainment for kids and adults. Our pull-thru, full hookup, with patio site was great. Some of the picnic tables in the upper area are sadly weathered and damaged, though. And be sure to notice that if you have a non-KOA registered visitor, they'll have to pay $25 to park their vehicle on site.

The KOA Leavenworth is a beautiful campground. It is large and spacious. There are many pine trees in the park that provide shade on warm days of the summer. The campground is on the Wenatchee River with river access available. People can choose to swim or float on the river. A variety of activities and games as well as a pool for guests. We plan to go back again!

It was a little crowded but the facilities were top notch, more like glamping, than camping. Staff was kind, helpful, and efficient. The whole place was clean.

Checking in was a long process after a long drive need to speed it up. Cable for tv only worked early morning otherwise unusable! Shouldn’t matter if park is full it should work! Most staff were friendly but at children’s activities the people there were more interested in goofing around themselves.

We have stayed at this KOA for 20+ years. Feel like the property is getting over crowded. Didn’t like having to drive our trailer through the KOA for check-in, would prefer the old method. The tables are looking a bit old and run down, site was not cleaned for check-in and the grass is not well cared for. If we are going to pay $100 per night, I expect more. Also missing the hot tub.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sorry you feel as though progress should not occur. With RV sales through the roof demand for camping is also elevated. Other campers say the tables look rustic and blend in well with our park. We have a new hot tub on order again! Price is due to Leavenworth demand.

Driving in, the thought is “wow, this looks great” but after being assigned 106 and not having enough space to back in properly my mind quickly changed. On the plus, we felt safe and access to everything was convenient. But we campers were all packed in so tight I could hear conversations in the next trailer. The designated campfire pit was entirely too close. My advice, pay for premium.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Site 6 is in the older part of the park and you can imagine after 40 years of RV size growth it can be a bit of a challenge to get everyone to fit. As to the noise we agree that conversations can be heard elsewhere as sound amplifies in the canyon forest. Deluxe pull thru patio sites are awesome!

Improved office signage at entrance would be most helpful. Shower at entrance comfort station would be convenient. Excellent location.

Great KOA. It is well kept, has lots of activities and is really quiet after hours. The setting is amazing and we will definitely be back.

It was great! We weren't able to get campsites next to each other, but we made it work. The campgrounds made it feel like glamping.

Grounds are beautifully well kept and clean. Service was friendly and very accommodating. Very family friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back with our family.

It was awesome staff is extremely helpful and kind. They also let us switch campsites because I messed up what kind of site I wanted. The campground grounds themself were immaculate very clean well kept I thought. Definitely will be returning here and excited to check out Koa’s else where in state and out.

Our site was miserable, we asked to move and the office seemed rather unreceptive and quite defensive to any feedback about the site. It was full sun, sand, the picnic table was wedges between two rocks and even if we could mow it, site was too small. However a very nice gal driving one the gators was incredibly kind, showed me the sites available and even offered to help us move.

On the positive: Staff was friendly and efficient, location is good. On the negative, the camp is over developed! many sites are on top of each other with little room to put a pop up shade cover next to the trailer. Feels more like a parking lot than a camp.

The sites were a little cramped but not the end of the world. All of the staff I interacted with were great, clean facilities and lots of amenities. Overall a good weekend. In the future, I will forgo the electric tent site to have more space

Wayyyyyy too crowded. Very dusty campground. No grass. Dirty bathrooms. Charge an insane amount for parking. Wouldn’t recommend.

I paid for an upper tier site and upon checkin, was assigned a low-end site behind the office building. I appealed and was placed in site 85, which was in terrible shape. It was filthy, had all of the grass covered with gravel and appeared to have been a fire extinguisher used across the whole site, white paste everywhere. This got all over our shoes and dog’s paws and tracked into our trailer.

Friendly and helpful staff. Sites clean and well maintained. First time at a KOA and I was surprised how tightly packed the south side RV sites were. Way too crowded. Maybe remove a few and spread things out a bit? Tent sites felt much more spacious. Maybe this is normal for KOA, but it was a bit much for us. Not a lot of options in the area so we'll probably stay again but pay to pick a site.

Had thinks stolen from our site and never in all of my years camping and we camp a lot, have we ever had things stolen. Not the campgrounds fault but it was discouraging
