Everything nice and clean, but the e tra 6 $ for our dog should be part of the cost you see online and not be added when you are there. Had we known wr would have gone to the other KOA in town

Great and clean place had problem getting sewer hose over cement,like to see senior discount,and AARP, especially since you charge more for weekends,but really great place very helpful.

The facility is awesome and spotless. Staff was awesome. But being next to the busiest highway in Idaho during harvest and trains i mean a lot of trains making the camper vibrate because they were so close and did i mention lots of very long trains many trains day and night we probably won’t be back. It should be on the registration page letting you know about the noise. I know you can’t

Avery BEAUTIFUL area & campground!! We had a very good, and relaxing time. Thank you. Very Friendly and Polite office staff. Bathrooms are Clean!! Park is Beautiful. Wood bundles a bit small! (5 or 6 Small pieces - $8.50!!

Good location for the hot springs, tubing the river or the (rather dated) downtown. Site was fine, staff friendly. But the trains and traffic were loud! We left both ACs running in fan only to drown out the noise.

Very nice grounds, well kept and extremely clean! River sites are wonderful. We stayed in a site with a “paw” pen which is a wonderful idea for those of us with furry friends. Now there is no denying that the noise from the highway and the freight trains is a thing to consider but don’t let it stop you! It’s not that bad…..walking distance to Lava hot springs town and the actual hot

It was excellent. I do have feedback. 202 site and the sites around it, the concrete borders are too high from RV pad to grass. Difficult to get in to the sites, use RV stairs and avoid hitting the borders when exiting.

Super friendly staff. Sites are immaculate. The “premium “ WiFi Not so much. Our TVs and PCs would log on but not stream. and we were close to the office. Trains are regular throughout the night. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time. Sites are large with plenty of room. The only issue we had was with other guests (Loud music and out of control binge drinking on tent sites and another guest hitting our RV with a frizbee several times. They shouldn't have been playing frizbee in the road. They quit playing frizbee after I asked them to.) KOA is nice, large shade trees.

Although it didn't have a Pool, there was a river and mineral pools within walking distance. We had a great view of the Portneuf River. It was a beautiful stay and showers and bathrooms were clean! If you forgot something, the store in the KOA had almost everything. It was a great stay. Thank you

We love KOA at Lava Hot Springs! We come from California just to enjoy this lovely park setting. We camp on the river and it's just perfect. The staff is so welcoming and always treats us like family. We'll see you again soon, I'm sure! The Bastian Family

Beautiful campground. Great location. Well maintained grounds and facilities. Very friendly and helpful people. We stayed in newer section, and it is very nice, except for lack of mature trees. We plan to stay here again.

The upgrade to staying next to the river was a real positive. Obviously the highway and the trains are quite loud, so the gentle river added to the ambience and enjoyment of the park.

Great place and location setting by the river, only issues are out of your control Rod noise and train noise. Wish you had more garbage site and larger dog runs. Another question/ concern is your fire pits are a bit concerning being dug into the ground could lead to somebody stepping into if dark or playing kids hurting themselves. All in all one of the best KOAs I’ve seen

Second day of our stay KOA had personnel trim a tree and we had to move. Also nothing wrong with KOA but train kept us up at night.

Changed site as original site too small for RV. Given nice sunny site at end by river. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot springs in walking distance. Small, quaint town with nice people.

We stayed in L46 and patio is facing the river. Very nice night bbq and fire pit experience. Close by train tracks and freeway is the downside though. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Kids loved the bunk beds.

The cabins are very cozy, close to the Portneuf river across from the cabins. It runs by some great RV parking spots looking at that river. I gave them 2 stars for service because no one is around Monday to Thursday, along with limited working hours Friday- Sunday. If you want something, you have to get in your vehicle and drive about a mile away to their other office in a different area of town. I find that ridiculous or even worse, asinine, not sure what the owner was thinking of that concept. Everything else was great. Some people might have other opinions about driving away to check out, they should have a drop box located around the office area to drop off the keys where we were staying at, instead of us driving to the other location drop it off, I found that to be very inconvenience for us.
