Tent site was very nice. Level with pea gravel. Easy to put tent stakes in. Bathroom was always very clean. People were friendly.

Showed up without a reservation, but got a great spot at a great price for just an overnight stay. The TV and WiFI were top notch and fast. We will be stopping again on our way home from Colorado.

Main issues were, low water pressure and cell service (Verizon) was horrible, not much close by, but nice views from front row of pull-through spaces.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry to hear about the problems you had. You should not have had low water pressure in site #1 unless you had a pressure regulator on....Verizon workers were here for a month installing the equipment on our on-site ATT, T-Mobile cell tower. They stated they still need to install and 80' cable.

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The site was level and long enough for our motorhome and tow trailer. The placement of the utilities could have been further back in the site, but we managed. Our dog loved the dog park.

The folks in the front office are all fantastic. We had car trouble and had to extend our stay. We had to move because someone else had a reservation for our site. Apparently, there are not a lot of 50-amp sites. I would have given the park a five-star rating, but the water pressure was low, and it had a funny smell. We wound up using our fresh water tank instead.

Our second stay at LVKOA for traveling towards Colorado/Wyoming. Check in easy, site level, facilities clean. Breakfast potatoes are the best. We spent a few days here and toured Glorieta, Ft. Union and Santa Fe.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms & showers. We stayed in a cabin and it had a little cooling unit, a mini refrigerator, microwave, and outlets for charging my devices. The porch swing was nice and there was a picnic table and fire pit out front. All very nice.

Camp ground is not kid friendly. Called and asked if pool was open and heated. They told us yes it is open and heated. When we arrived on the pool gate a sign stated no kids can go in pool if they wear a diaper per NM state code. No code number was stated. We looked up and couldn’t find anything. If this was the case we would have not stayed there.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Please feel free to contact the New Mexico Health Department. We would get shut down if we allowed a baby with a diaper in the pool. We did however go buy a baby pool so the baby would still have a good time. There are plenty of people that thanked us for not letting a baby with a diaper in the pool

We stayed here one night and there is nothing really wrong with this park, it's just not very attractive, mainly due to the dark gray rock used everywhere. They have a dog exercise park which is a necessity as there are sand burrs everywhere. They had a storm the night before our arrival and it knocked out their water system. It was perfect for our needs, we stayed in a 39' DP.

Some sites are not level. It is laid out on terraces down a hillside. Spaces are close together but not like an RV parking lot.

The location was close enough to the highway, but you didn’t hear the highway noise. The staff was really friendly and site 1 had an unobstructed view and was very level.

Registered in the phone and checked in prior to the office closing. Parked and spent the night. Could hear I25 traffic, but it did not keep me awake.

It was pretty, quiet and CLEAN!!! There was a very minor safety issue in which I received a small injury. Staff responded immediately and fixed the problem within a matter of seconds. The breakfast - especially those pancakes - was YUMMY!!!

Love the space between sites. Added bonus is the reasonably priced breakfast. Bathrooms and showers are clean and always stocked.

This was the first time we stayed at a KOA campground. Check in fast and easy. Campground was very well maintained. Showers and restrooms were very clean. An excellent stay for us. We will stop there again.

I needed to stay one night during my travels and the KOA at Las Vegas, NM was very accommodating and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The campsite was clean. We stayed there two days. The daytime staff was very friendly, but that was the only people we spoke with. The cabin was clean and felt very comfortable.

We had a nice site, but ants every where. Ants under and on top of the picnic table. Ants on the path to the dog park. Ants in the dog park. Ants every where we walked. Sorry we won't be coming back.

Self checkin with well executed site directions on map. Park had a good "camp" feel with lots of trees and various levels. Did not use amenities.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was super helpful when a neighbor complained about the electric - turned out the service was fine & his "not-name-brand" surge connector was wrong! Close enough to interstate to be convenient, but far enough away there was not traffic noise. Lots of trees, a decent dog run as well as a good breakfast for $8.00. A hidden gem worth checking out.
