The main campground road to our campsite was very narrow and had a tight turn at end. At the turning point a tall overhanging pine tree was on right and two boulders on the left. We were completely wedged into the tree in order to make turn and avoid boulders. I was on roof of our fifth-wheel holding back tree branches while my husband navigated turn. Our roof was damage and siding was scratched!

Your troubles here were very unfortunate, but as I understand it, you didn't follow the route illustrated on the map to your site but rather turned off the main wider street and onto a narrow road before the turn you were supposed to take.

There was literally. nothing to do there. Nothing to speak of in the store. Really tight spaces. Our door opened to the neighbor's door.

Not a place I'd want to be camping for an extended stay, but it was fine for just one night off the road. The steps down to the dog run were a bit treacherous. And the mulch in the run was a bit tough on the dog's pads.

We stayed just one overnight since we were traveling. The staff members were very helpful and personable. A hot breakfast was served on Saturday morning; it was delicious. Recommend the campgrounds and we would definitely stay there again.

What a pretty setting for an RV park. The staff is so nice and we loved the availability of having breakfast right there in the KOA office dining area. Still close enough to Las Vegas to go in for Mexican food and also run up to Fort Union for a great history lesson.

The worse part of our stay was the WATER PRESSURE. We were told at the office that the water pressure was gravity fed, had no idea that it meant it would be just a trickle of water. It was so bad that we were unable to shower that night. Our stay was so disappointing, never had such a bad KOA before. Also, the road leading into park was very rough and quite challenging.

Site good for big rig. Great vew and quiet. Overall a clean park. Sewer didn't dran well. Picnic table area way to close to adjacent site sewer...ugh. roads in park are terrible, extremely bumpy/uneven....need a grader to smooth them out. Some sites have a steep incline til you reach the level area of site.

The staff was wonderful and I highly recommend the breakfast Delicious. The spot we had was flat and we had a wonderful view. I was glad to see they added a dog park since our last stay. The surrounding area has prickers that you need to stay off because they can be painful. Easy access to I25. Thanks to friendly staff!

Our site was very unlevel. We had to use several boards under one tire to get level enough to put slides out. There were loose dogs wandering around. The road to the park was rough.

Very friendly at check in. The restroom and showers were very clean, and grounds were very neat. Our pull-thru site was level and long enough that I didn't have to unhook for our overnight stay.

Our stay was wonderful! I highly recommend the hot breakfast served with a smile and great stories! Nice opportunity to sit with other guests and get to know each other and the wonderful staff at this KOA. We will be back! Thank you again!

We only stayed one night. The staff was super friendly. Everything was clean. The cozy kabin ac didn't provide much comfort being that it was so low on the wall. It could have used a ceiling fan to help circulate the air. Also a bedside table would have been nice. Overall it's a very nice campground, and we would stay again if we are ever down that way again

It was a good stop over on our way to Arizona from Colorado. Site 1 has a great view.

Our spot was very narrow on the side of a hill. No place really to put our chairs. Water pressure is an issue, have to fill your tank and use water pump in your trailer. Unfortunately this might be the best option in the Las Vegas New Mexico area.

Camp ground was fantastic. Noise from traffic and airplanes was very noisy. Hard to get a good night sleep. Hot tub very clean and enjoyable!

I called the day before (I had a change of plans) and they were able to fit us in!� It’s a very convenient place and are very friendly. There’s a nice clean bathroom/shower area! They also have a breakfast $ available $ You will see us again! Thank You!

Everyone was very nice and friendly. Spots are larger than most RV parks. They offer an 8 dollar breakfast. Very secluded and quiet.

Older, semi-rundown place, which is common for many Journey KOA's. Pool was weird and green, and only moderately enjoyable activities nearby. It was a good night's sleep, very quiet, and kind staff. This is a nice stop on the way to somewhere else.

We just stayed overnight but the campground was beautiful and easy access for our big rig. Everyone in the office was super nice and we enjoyed our breakfast before we hit the road again!! Would definitely stay here again!

Have been to a lot of Koa's Las Vegas NM is always nice and clean and most importantly has a number of extra big sites like I need, at 65 feet overall some parks are a challenge if not impossible for me to get into, and the breakfast in Las Vegas is always great too, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Great stay. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Rustic campsite. Quiet. Very clean restrooms. Gravel sites may require some minor leveling. Easy access to I25 and US84. Excellent breakfast was a welcome surprise. Would definitely stop in again.

The campground is clean and orderly, with an attendant and friendly staff that know the area and can make recommendations on area entertainment. Everyone tolerated my 7-month-old rowdy lab puppy and treated her well.

Fantastic stay. Easy check in; great level site, water and electric only this time for one night. Nice camp K9 which is nice because of the goat heads that can get in dogs paws in the woods near by. The breakfast for $8 is a "must do". Great variety and the green chili scrambled eggs and plain scrambled eggs plus all the other things are a fantastic value. Very clean bathrooms and showers.

Self checkin with well executed site directions on map. Park had a good "camp" feel with lots of trees and various levels. Did not use amenities.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was super helpful when a neighbor complained about the electric - turned out the service was fine & his "not-name-brand" surge connector was wrong! Close enough to interstate to be convenient, but far enough away there was not traffic noise. Lots of trees, a decent dog run as well as a good breakfast for $8.00. A hidden gem worth checking out.
