This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed at this KOA location. They do have nice flat pull through sites, but like all KOA campsites they are over-priced and this campground doesn't offer what most KOA's do. It is off the beaten path, which is nice because it's a quiet location. However, the wi-fi is awful or non-existent.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I wish you would have let us know while you were here. You were right by a wifi booster and maybe we could have reset it for you. Would be nice to know what amenities you were expecting. We try to accommodate campers but communication is important for us to understand what is wanted. Thanks

Another wonderful stay overnight on my way back to Las Vegas Nevada. Such kind people. Felt like home! Thank you for the great homestyle breakfast, and the conversation. You all are doing a great job making people feel at home on their travels. Madison Grey

We are full time RV'S and this park is great. Clean restroom/showers, friendly and helpful staff. We plan to stay a long time.

Such a hidden gem in the middle of New Mexico. Great staff, and a kind caring owner. You cant ask for better than that. Loved my little cabin, and breakfast was like being at home. Definately I will return. Great price on the tiny cabin and well worth it. Thank you all for you kindness and chat at breakfast Will see you again soon! Madison Grey

The RV campground was wonderful with nicely spaced RV parking spots. The host was delightful and made a great breakfast for us. Depending on the timing of our return journey, we may be able to stay again

I had to stay because of the wind, but would definitely return and plan to next time. Quiet, clean and very friendly staff. Great place to stay!

Clean, quiet, and a great surrounding. Host was super helpful. Bathroom and shower were a 10/10.

People are super friendly and campground is in treed area. Far enough off the highway that it’s pretty quiet. Very pet friendly. We plan on staying there too and from Arizona from now on.

Great location, great site and the best Breakfast. Suggest updating K9 park or plan on putting in some individual K9 run/kennel sites that I’ve seen/used at other KOA locations. Great addition to KOA properties.

This was/is a beautiful campground and during warmer months it would be a super place to stay. There wasn’t any propane available, the water hookup was on the opposite side of site #41 and the power pedestal had no ground installed. It got fixed, however the power on one leg kept dropping multiple times and that issue was never resolved. We have no recurring power issues at a different RV park

We are very sorry that you experienced electrical issues beyond what we were made aware of during your stay. Had we known of them we would have corrected them. That site is the only one in the park with the water on the opposite side. Propane is accessible only five miles away.

Great customer service. Only suggestion it to get a bigger space heater. Got cold in the cabin.

No cable TV. Looks like that should be available at all KOA’s. Internet was excellent.

We needed a one night stay on our way south from Cheyenne, WY. We saw snow was forecasted, so we wanted to get south of Raton Pass before stopping. Las Vegas KOA was an easy off the freeway. Check in was easy, facility was clean and site was great. Breakfast was good.

We had a lovely stay. Very thorough info from the host and very warm welcome. We went to the breakfast in the morning which was delicious ans had a lovely conversation with other guests attending.

We just stayed overnight while traveling, we ran out of milk, the Koa store was also out, the nice host stopped and got us some milk and delivered it to our site. Much appreciated and remembered.

The RV spots were really nice! The spots all looked level as you can ask for. Most areas have new asphalt roads and parking spots. Very nice and office personel were very professional and personable! Thanks to all working at this KOA!

Thank you for the very nice comments. But we think we should clarify that we use an adhesive base course for our interior roads that can look nice but there are no asphalted roads.

Self checkin with well executed site directions on map. Park had a good "camp" feel with lots of trees and various levels. Did not use amenities.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was super helpful when a neighbor complained about the electric - turned out the service was fine & his "not-name-brand" surge connector was wrong! Close enough to interstate to be convenient, but far enough away there was not traffic noise. Lots of trees, a decent dog run as well as a good breakfast for $8.00. A hidden gem worth checking out.
